Šimůnek, Radim ; Vostrejž, Dušan (referee) ; Boleslavská, Yvona (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis deals with the design of a new leasable industrial area in Uherské Hradiště. The existing industrial area is not sufficient for the city's requirements, and therefore a new area is proposed on the adjacent development site. Over time, the proposed industrial area may expand into the territory of the existing industrial area and fully replace it. The wish of the city management was to create a rentable area, which, with its architecture, will also form a dominant feature at the entrance to the city of Uherské Hradiště. The equipment and services of the area are oversized so that they can also be used by nearby companies. These main requirements are mainly represented by building A of the industrial area, which is the subject of this work. The mass of the building resembles a chimney and forms a dominant feature at the entrance. The eight-story building houses a cafeteria, a meeting hall, rentable offices of various sizes, administration and a cafe. The supporting system is a two-way reinforced concrete frame with a stiffening core. The building is covered with a flat vegetated roof, on which there is a viewing garden.
