This work covers the divorce of the population of Czechia, its development in time and the spatial differentiation. The gathering of the statistical data on the divorce in the Czech Republic, that is required for the analysis of the change in its rate and timing, is the aim of this work. The fundamental indicators of this demographic process are an indispensable part of the work. The development trends of the divorce in the population, which correlate with the liberalisation of the divorce legislative, are characterised here. The analysis of the development of the reasons for the divorce in the Czech Republic is a part of the work. It overlays with the area divorce on the regional and district levels. The analyses and the obtained results are presented by way of statistical tables, diagrams and maps.
