Individually manufactured orthopedic insoles as an option for correction of acquired leg defects

Title: Individually manufactured orthopedic insoles as an option for correction of acquired leg defects Objectives: The main objective of this work is to create comprehensive overview of the theory of acquired leg deformities during life and possibilities of correction and treatment of these deformities in the form of orthopaedic insoles manufactured individually for a particular client and by different methods. Methods: In context of my work I used the systematic research method. This is based on available Czech and foreign literature, electronic sources, from materials obtained at congresses and from personal consultations. Results: The result of this thesis is an inventory of information, which deals with each acquired foot defects, causes and connections between them; and treatment offers or correction options using individually manufactured orthopaedic insoles, but also other methods of treatment. Further, this thesis shows production offer of orthopaedic insoles, beginning from older development, but still used, up to methods to news in the field. Thesis with its content, can present a benefit for orthotics students and other medical workers working in the field of calceotics and podology.
