Diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the economic situation and quanti-fication of bankruptcy risk in wine companies in the South Moravian Region. The aim of this work is to quantify the bankruptcy risk of selected wine companies that fall into the South Moravian Region, and according to the results to propose poten-tial recommendations for improving the financial situation and eliminating bank-ruptcy risk. The literature search in this work provides the reader with a theoreti-cal overview of financial analysis, especially its individual methods, and prediction models. The current situation in the wine sector in the Czech Republic is briefly introduced in the practical part of the thesis and selected methods of financial analysis and bankruptcy models, described in the literature search, are applied to three selected wine companies. Based on the findings of potential weaknesses in companies, recommendations will be proposed at the end of the work to eliminate these weaknesses and bankruptcy risk.

The aim of the thesis is on the data obtained from Amadeus database to identify indicators which determine the financial health of a company and then to synthesize a nonlinear model usable for assessing the financial health of the company. The specific method used for modelling such a type of simulation is logistic regression. In this thesis is aim to try to apply mentioned method precisely on financial data and evaluate its usability in context of modelling of the financial health of the economic subjects operating in the Czech market.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate and assess the financial ratios of Bajer a spol., spol. s r. o. in the period 2009-2013. This work is the first part with a literature review, a characteristic of financial analysis, its users, resources, and different access to financial analysis. The second part of this work, describes the characteristics of the company and its calculations of individual indicators of financial analysis. The company bases are designed to improve the situation.

Vliv investičních strategií na kapitálový trh

Financial indicators include ratio P/E; P/B and P/S; index S&P 500 and google search database. The first part examines the current scientific literature relevant to investment strategies, types of investment strategies and types of financial assets. The second part involves comprehensive analysis of the market in order to examine the correlation between financial indicators and stock prices. Conclusively, the final part of this thesis review summarises and evaluates the current recommendations for investors, and includes a comparison of the scientific evidence.

Predikce bankrotu strojírenských podniků v EU

The diploma's thesis focuses on the problem of binary classification within the company bankruptcy prediction. The aim of the thesis is to apply selected methods on the financial data and consequently evaluate the accuracy of developed models for the predictability of bankruptcy. The theoretical part deals with the basic concept of financial analysis and also models which are used for the bankruptcy prediction nowadays. The practical part comes from the data of 953 engineering companies based in the EU. The data are elaborated by methods of multidimensional statistics, namely the classification using cluster analysis, decision trees and support vectors machines.

Finanční analýza obce jako nástroj efektivního finančního řízení

This bachelor thesis deals with preparation of the financial analysis in the terms of municipality. First part of the bachelor thesis consists of definition accounting system and financial system, especially accounting and financial statements, which are necessary to preparation of the analysis. This part also describes financial indicators, which are adapted for municipality. Particular part deals with evaluation of financial performance in the selected municipality of Slovak republic -- Staškov on the basis of preparation of the financial analysis, which consists of chronological analysis stages. Attention is also paid to the preparation of the pyramid model as an analysis of causes, which examines the impact of particular financial indicators on the financial situation in municipality.
