Sociálně ekologické aspekty dovozu manga do České republiky

This Bachelor´s thesis characterizes the family Anacardiaceae and genus Mangifera. Next parts are focused on the most common cultivars and ways of their use. Concretely it is focus on Mangifera indica. There are described required nature conditions for planting, the most common diseases and pests of mango trees and its fruit. Next chapter is about world production of mango, the biggest world importers and exporters. There is also described the mango trees growing in country with the highest export to the Czech republic and further chapter contains information about mango import to the Czech republic. In the last part of this work is characterized impact of mango planting on nature and local population. This is followed by description of Fairtrade certification of mango.

Sociálně ekologické aspekty dovozu čili do České republiky

In the thesis there is characterized genus Capsicum, which is botanically described and taxonomically classified. There are also characterized domesticated species of the genus, of which are listed the most famous varieties. There is described a history of import of chilli, it's utilization, quality measures, growing methods and conditions. The biggest producers of chilli are also listed. For these producers is mentioned influence of agriculture on economy of the country. Another part of the thesis is about an import of chilli to Czech republic and there is introduced the biggest importer of chilli peppers. Next there is defined an origin of these peppers and described socio-ecological effects on the country of origin. In other part of thesis is described Fair Trade movement and also the chilli imported under this mark, including determine the country of origin of Fair Trade chilli pappers and description of influences of growing chilli on this country.
