Selected Issues of the Civil Service Act - Abstract The thesis "Selected Issues of the Civil Service Act" deals with legislative development of Civil Service Act and its practical implementation with focus on civil service proceedings. The first chapter of the thesis follows the legislative development of the Civil Service Act that is used not only to demonstrate dynamic development of the law but through the descriptions of its novelisations it also introduces the law to reader. Hence, in the first chapter, the thesis evaluates and explains legislative changes and highlights issues that may arise with certain novelized provisions during practical application of the Act. The second chapter is dedicated to the civil service proceedings. It examines course of the proceedings and is focused on their individual stages. The thesis does not consider administrative proceeding in general. It introduces particular elements of civil service proceedings in context of the administrative proceeding in order to determine whether current legal framework is sufficient. Practical implementation of the civil service proceedings can be found in this chapter.
