The subject of the bachelor's thesis is a comparison of methodologies for measuring emissions from pig farming according to the BREF document and the VERA protocol. The work evaluates the differences and matches in ammonia measurements according to the two techniques mentioned.
Vyhodnocení emisí amoniaku z vybraného chovu prasat
BOČEK, Jan
The purpose of this final work is to evaluate the average annual emission of ammonia ballast gas from a selected pig farm in Hejná of Horažďovice in the Pilsen region. Instruments from the BAT center of the University of South Bohemia in České Budějovice were used for the measurements. This problem around the ammonia (NH3) ballast gas is further compared with the European Union directive and also evaluated according to the given statistical methods. In order to improve relations between agriculture and the environment, it is above all necessary to reduce emissions of all stress gases (NH3, CO2, N2O, CH4), but especially ammonia. Due to the increasing use of intensive agriculture, ammonia affects not only the environment but also the creation of the landscape, where it affects important landscape elements such as soil, air and water. Agriculture is considered to be the largest producer of ammonia up to 90 % worldwide. The use of the latest products for reducing the concentration of ammonia in the stable environment, in the processing of manure and slurry and protective measures when establishing manure and pits is a suitable method to prevent large-scale ammonia leakage into the air. The final work also has in its content a literature search, which mentions pig breeding in general, statistics and the economics of pig breeding.
Vliv obohaceného prostředí na chování prasat v intenzivním a extenzivním způsobu chovu
ULMONOVÁ, Karolína
The diploma thesis followed the Bachelor's thesis Ulmonová (2018). The work was focused on the elimination of aggressive behavior in extensive and intensive pig breeding. In both establishments, the toy was placed in pre-fattening and pig fattening. It was assumed that reducing aggressive behavior would reduce pig injuries (bitten tails, ears, navel). To eliminate aggressive behavior, a toy (wooden logs, chains) was used, which was always lowered into the pens at a certain time and pulled out again at a certain time. 2 groups were created in both companies (control / experimental). In intensive breeding after 15 pieces, later after 13 pieces. In extensive breeding of 10 pieces. During the pre-fattening 1 ethogram was created and during the fattening another 3 ethograms were created. The basic categories of behavior (feed intake, rest, movement, standing) and frequency categories of behavior (play / aggressive behavior) were evaluated in the ethograms. Groups in extensive breeding spent more time on feeding, compared to groups in intensive breeding. The animals from the control groups spent more time resting. The experimental groups spent more time moving. The movement was associated with the presence of a toy in the pen. Standing on both farms fluctuated considerably, with all observations. The frequency of aggressive behavior was highest in the control group in intensive breeding and increased over time. In the experimental group in intensive breeding, there was a reduction in aggressive behavior, but not complete elimination. The frequency of aggressive behavior in extensive breeding was negligible. The highest frequency of the game was in the experimental group in intensive breeding, the pigs played with the toy the most. The experimental group had the highest frequency of playing with equipment (they had straw available). Cannibalism appeared only in the control group in intensive breeding, in the middle of fattening. In this group, the necessary slaughter took place at the end of the fattening, due to the biting of the tail of one pig.
Vyhodnocení vztahu stájového mikroklimatu, užitkovosti a úhynu z vybraného chovu prasat
KOPIC, Pavel
The diploma thesis consists of a literature review specializing in pig breeding from a legislative, but also a physical view of the stable microclimate with its effects on the performance and health status of pigs for fattening. In the company Mavela Dynín a.s. with the operation in Mazelov, these data were gradually ascertained in the hall divided into two parts (by the pond, by the road). Ammonia concentrations, relative humidity, temperature and their effect on pig death. From the measured data, arithmetic averages of ammonia concentration and air flow were calculated, which determined the mass flows of the pollutant in mg.s-1 in and out of the stable. Neither side exceeded the emission limit, which is 3.6 kg NH3 ks-1 rok-1. In the first stop at the pond, the average temperature was 19.2 ° C, the average humidity was 58.5 % and the average ammonia concentration was 3.9337 mg.m-3. The total mortality under these conditions was 122 pieces. On the side of the road, the average temperature was 19.8 ° C, the average relative humidity was 61.3 % and the average ammonia concentration was 3.4398 mg.m-3. Under these conditions, the death of 148 pigs was found. In the second stop, the average temperature on the side of the pond was 20.3 ° C, the average relative humidity was 66.88 % and the average ammonia concentration was 3.8057 mg.m-3. The total death on the side of the pond was 64 pigs. On the road side, the average temperature was 20.9 ° C, the average relative humidity was 67.62 % and the average ammonia concentration was 3.3196 mg.m-3. The total death on the side of the road was 94 pigs. The results show that pigs in breeding thrive more in the summer months (second stop) in the part of the pond. This is most likely due to the higher temperature around 20.5 ° C and the relative humidity around 67 %. In the second stop, the mortality is 59 % lower than in conditions with lower temperature and relative humidity. The company should take from these data that a wetter and warmer environment is more favorable for pig farming. With respect to this knowledge, he will have more than half as efficient breeding. The specific production of ammonia and the concentration of ammonia in the air are very burdensome for the environment, and therefore limit values are issued, according to which every company should follow. In the case of the Mazelov plant, these values were not exceeded.
Chov prasat v České republice
Beňovičová, Daniela
This bachelor thesis is focused on issues in pig breeding in Czech republic. The main goal of this thesis is meeting with history in pig breeding in Czech republic and with the current situation. In a review of the literature are said chapters on history of pig bre-edings, on the importance of pig breeding, on the pig breeds which are breeding at the territory of the Czech republic currently, on the technology and conditions in current breeding and on perspective in the pig breeding.
Zhodnocení užitkovosti a ekonomické situace ve vybraném chovu prasat
Dvořáková, Eliška
The bachelor thesis analyzes the current situation in selected pig breeding. First, the theoretical part concerning pig breeding is elaborated. In particular, the importance of breeding is described here. Furthermore, the current situation in this area is evaluated and analyzed, both in terms of utility and economics. This section is discussed in more detail and describes the reproduction and production indicators divided into external and internal factors that influence them. From the economic point of view, the total number of pigs in the Czech Republic and the overall economic evaluation are described. Subsequently, a specific pig farm is described. In the practical part is monitored the operation and functioning of pig breeding. Then a SWOT analysis is elaborated on the basis of which possible optimization solutions are proposed.
Chov prasat v podmínkách tropické Afriky
MINDZEME MENDOME, Nino Ninoli Sacre
Pigs breeding in Africa is not very widespread, nor is it historically one of the major sectors of agriculture on this continent. Most farms are scattered on traditional family farms by poor farmers, and are more of a marginal breed of individuals. The bachelor thesis is focused on breeding and production characteristics of pigs, breeds of pigs, breeding work in pig breeding, systems of pig breeding, basics of pig nutrition, housing technology, pig breeding technique and pig health and diseases.
Řešení technických a technologických zařízení v návrhu novostavby v obci Dobřejovice
KŘIVÁČKOVÁ, Kateřina
This thesis deals with the complex project of the technical and technological equipment in a new building of the agricultural object. This thesis is divided into two parts. The first part is focused on the description possible and and the most often used variants of technical and technological equipments together with legislative terms. The second part is focused on the design of these equipments including calculations and drawings.
