Possibilities of the Tensile Test
Nevřivý, David ; Harant, Martin (referee) ; Řiháček, Jan (advisor)
The Bachelor’s thesis deals with the possibilities of tensile testing, the parameters of the test specimens, testing machines and the equipment which can be used in this test. Based on the literature review, the thesis explains the test principle, the measurement process and the strain and stress characteristics detected by the test. The thesis then focuses on the test specimens, their geometry, the method of their sampling and gripping into the machine. When describing the machines and equipment used in tensile testing, the thesis explains the functionality of these and their different types. The work also covers special types of tensile tests, namely those using elevated temperature, high-speed deformation, and cyclic or multiaxial stress. The final part of the thesis examines the current trend of evaluating the tensile test using 3D optical measurement systems
Tension - compression asymetry non-ferous alloys
Čavojec, Martin ; Judas, Jakub (referee) ; Zapletal, Josef (advisor)
Bakalářská práce se zabývá asymetrickou odezvou na tahové a tlakové zatěžování neželezných kovů, jmenovitě hořčíkových slitin. Popisuje základní problematiku zkoušek tahem a tlakem, experimentální stanovením asymetrické odezvy, vliv rozličných parametrů na asymetrickou odezvu na tahové a tlakové zatěžování, a také možný popis asymetrie jako funkci orientace a textury. Na závěr práce popisuje experimentální stanovení a vyhodnocení asymetrické odezvy na tlakové a tahové zatěžování hořčíkové slitiny AZ61, s metalografickou analýzu tyto slitiny.
Analysis of the miniature test specimen results with variable geometries
Kašuba, Matúš ; Havlík, Petr (referee) ; Moravčík, Igor (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyze and evaluate results of the tensile test carried out by using miniature test specimens, and compare these results with values of mechanical properties obtained by tensile testing of standardized test specimens. The tensile test itself is presented in the first part, along with its outputs including stress-strain diagrams and tensile characteristics. Further, issues of testing of miniature test specimens are described and theoretical effect of size of miniature test specimens on tensile test results is mentioned. The experimental part of this thesis deals with comparison and evaluation of conformity or difference of results obtained by tensile testing of standardized and miniature test specimens.
Destruktivní metody testování materiálu
Veverka, Vilém
The submitted bachelor's thesis deals with destructive methods of material testing with a focus on tensile testing and material fatigue. The aim of the bachelor's thesis was to prepare an overview of individual destructive methods of material testing and comparison of tensile diagrams of samples. In the bachelor's thesis, 3 types of samples were investigated, which were printed on a Prusa i3 MK3s 3D printer from ABS, PLA and PETG materials. Test specimens were modeled in Fusion 360 according to ASTM D638. The tensile test was performed on a ZDM 5/51 universal tensile machine according to the ASTM D638 standard. The results show that the sample made of PLA material has the highest tensile strength of 41,23 MPa.
