The aim of this work was to create a technologically unique design and shape of a park bench, which naturally fits into the surroundings of the park. Another goal was to create a project which could be realized in practice and would be successful in mass production at reasonable costs.

This work deals with design of park bench. The first part analyzes a design of this element of street furniture in terms of history and the present time. The second part deals with own design solution. The main purpose was to design an elegant modern bench that will revive a look of public spaces of the contemporary city by interesting way. The bench was designed with respect to aesthetics, ergonomy, manufacturability and other essential aspects of industrial design.
