White lie in home hospice care

A bachelor thesis deals with a communication in special form called as white lie. This phenomenon is analysed in home hospice care. Theoretical part describes home hospice care, historical progress and type of home hospice care. In this chapter is described home hospice too which is important part of bachelor thesis. Next chapter attentions to lie, typology of lie which contain white lie too. White lie is complemented perspective by physician and family. Third chapter is recommendations how to tell malignant diagnosis. In research is applied method narrative interview and a result is executed to five brief casework from Home hospice St. Veronika in České Budějovice. This five client have experience with white lie. Casework reflect white lie in relationship between family and dying. This is the main aim of the bachelor thesis too.
Study into whether you should tell "white lies" to oncology patients

The move towards true informing is nowadays absolutely clear. However, many questions regarding the truth at the hospital bed are still unanswered. The nature of this work is based on qualitative research. It uses the methods of semi controlled interview with thirteen doctors working at one unnamed oncology department. Interviews are opening the insight into the doctors{\crq} world. We are discovering how the different people in this area work and what has actually led them into this service. The work is confronting the opinions of various doctors, trying to unveil the dependences which could influence a particular way of thinking.
