Drivers for power switching transistors GaN MOSFET
Fiala, Zbyněk ; Pazdera, Ivo (referee) ; Vorel, Pavel (advisor)
The thesis describes the procedure during the proposal of the driver circuits for the GaN MOSFET transistors, which are known for their fast switching especially. In the first instance of this thesis the issue of GaN MOSFET transistors is described and also the thesis describes the different types of MOSFET transistors in the way of their electrical and mechanical attributes. The specific type driver circuit is stated in the thesis, which was selected in the semestral thesis. For this circuit the boost converter with an output power 600W and high switching frequency 800kHz was proposed as an attempt measurement circuit. This boost converter was measured after its construction was done. The waveforms captured by the oscilloscope are commented also. In the conclusion the assessment is done about this new technology of power switching transistors.

Co-jumping of yield curve
Fišer, Pavel ; Baruník, Jozef (advisor) ; Vácha, Lukáš (referee)
The main focus of the thesis is on jumps and co-jumps and their influence on the term structure of the U.S. Treasury bond futures contracts. Using high frequency data I am able to quantify to which extent co-jumps affect the correlation between bond futures pairs with different maturities which is not common in the literature. In order to separate the price process into continuous and discontinuous components represented by jumps and to pre- cisely localize significant co-jumps a new wavelet-based estimator is used for the analyses. Furthermore, I am studying the co-jump behavior in response to scheduled macroeconomic news announcements. Empirical findings re- veal strong influence of co-jumps to the correlation structure of bond futures across all maturity pairs as well as a significant link between Federal Open Market Committee news announcements and higher probability of co-jump occurrence.

Power Converters For Cell Electroporation
Folprecht, Martin
This contribution refers about some topologies of power converters, which are used for medical purposes. The use of power converters in treatment of a cancer or an arrhythmia is a modern medical technique, which is still in development. The aim of the contribution is to compare current samples of power converters for medical purposes and briefly describe a design of a high-frequency power generator for AC electroporation.

Verification And Adjustment Of Hf-Ecg
Preprocessing In Experimental Cardiology
Novotna, Petra
The aim of this article is to propose an approach to High-Frequency ECG (HF-ECG) preprocessing with an intention to verify the settled methods of signal preprocessing in the perspective of the new requirements and possibilities in the area of signal processing. The method using Butterworth filters is often used. Nevertheless, for the presented type of analysis is not suitable. FIR filtering alongside with clustering and signal averaging were used for preprocessing of data from isolated rabbit hearts. Frequency bands for further analysis were chosen according to the estimated SNR (signal-to-noise ratio).
