DPRK and the division of the Korean Peninsula

The paper analyzes the situation on the Korean Peninsula before its division and deals with the consequences that this division have had for both countries on the Korean peninsula. It first identifies the main dimensions that have been affected most in these countries, and the main analysis will be devoted to social and economic consequences, especially in the environment of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea. For comparison, the situation and developments in the Republic of Korea is mentioned. The work also examines the evolution of the two countries since their division until the nineties and the main part is devoted to analysis and deeper study of social and economic situation at present.
