Liturgia Ordininis Cartusiensis (or brief outline of contemporary carthusian liturgy)
ŠPAČEK, Ondřej
The thesis deals with the contemporary form of the liturgy of the Carthusian order, mainly with the form of the Mass. The first part of the thesis deals with the historical development of the Carthusian order, which serves for better understanding regarding the facts that characterize the order of the liturgy as a whole. After the presentation of these liturgical specifics, the work reaches to the present Carthusian missal to explore its structure, the formal division of masses into different types and degrees, and also touches other formal specifics such as the colours of the liturgical vestments. The last part deals directly with the Carthusian form of the Mass, which describes each detail of the Carthusian Mass in comparison with the contemporary form of the Roman liturgy.
