X-ray computed tomography artifacts simulation

The bachelor's thesis deals with CT artifacts modeling generated during the acquisition process. The theoretical part summarizes principles of CT and origin of artifacts. The practical part consists of a newly developed simulator, which includes ring, motion, metal, streak and aliasing artifacts. Finally, the new laboratory exercise was designed.

The theoretical part summarizes the general issues of projection reconstruction view and basic characteristics of the detectors. In the practical part is created simulator which simulate the effect of deacy time, afterglow and the light output.
