Vývoj změn koryta řeky Moravy a okolního prostoru na území města Olomouce
Marečková, Olga
The bachelor thesis deals with the development of changes in the riverbed of the Morava river and surrounding areas in the city of Olomouc. It defines the river environment, the river and watercourse adjustments in urban areas. Furthermore, it describes various features of the selected area. These include its biogeographical description, history, localization of the area, demographic aspects and the river basin of the Morava river in Olomouc. Biotopes associated with migration corridor valley of the Tichá Orlice river (Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic)
Rejzek, Tomáš ; Kovář, Pavel (advisor) ; Černý, Tomáš (referee)
Biotopes associated with railway corridor in valley of the river Tichá Orlice (Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic) ABSTRACT Expansion, invasion or decline of plant species caused by environmental changes belong to the most important phenomenons associated with vegetation cover development. In spite of their often initiation by human activities the above mentioned processes continue then spontaneously and uncontrollably. This study is concentrated to the effect of these mechanisms on the biotope structure along the Tichá Orlice River (Eastern Bohemia, Czech Republic) - in its lowland landscape segment of the canyon character where the second axis of the valley (river flow is the first one) is created by railway line more than 150 years of local history. The case study has the general aim: to treat the present and/or future impact of described trends to plant biota and the degree of its influencing. My diploma thesis investigates functional impact and mutual interaction of the two main migration pathways of exotic species - the T.Orlice river and the railway corridor. It presents qualitative and quantitative changes in plant components of local (semi)natural biotopes by mean of interrelationships among selected ecological groups of species (neophytes, expansive species, and ephemeroids). At the same time, this...
Revitalizing stream and its effect on landscape water retention
TRSKOVÁ, Martina
The aim of this diploma thesis is to evaluate the results of the selected revitalization intention. The introductory theoretical part is generally focused on revitalization, description of its main aims and the reasons, why are revitalization works needed. The practical part is focused on characterization of selected location, in which the revitalization steps were implemented. The main content of this part are calculations volumes of areas of retention places, which resulted from revitalization and the comparison of those areas with the original landscape. Based on those results, it was confirmed that revitalization in the selected location increased the retention capacity of the original riverbed.
Vodní prvky říční krajiny
Špaková, Zuzana
The final thesis is about water elements of river landscape. There is a description of morphology and establishment of floodplain, oxbow lakes, periodic pools and the river itself. The target of work was to recognize, analyse and understand to area and design the enhancing solution of a current state from a point view of landscape architect. The terrain research and make photo material was held at first. After studying of literature and on-line sources there was a summary of analysis created and followed the design of solution. The bank vegetation was designed on the Dolni louky for support of animals and vegetation and enhance of landscape character. The design of non-intervention forest area helps the landscape retention and watch the natural processes. Flooded crop fields are designed like a meadow also for better retention of water. The new bike path allows the spread of visitors around the area and enjoy the ride on protection dyke.
