Terminology of the new Civil Code regarding to law of succession and analysis of equivalent expression in French

The primary topic of this work is the terminology of the new civil code with regards to the law of succession and the analysis of equivalent expressions in French. This work focuses mainly on legal language and the law of succession within the new civil code. The thesis is divided into four chapters. The opening chapters are primarily concerned with Czech and French legal language, followed by methods of translation focusing on legal translation of law of succession and its new legal phenomenon. Finally, this work will examine new Czech legal terms and possible translations of these expressions in French, followed by a comparison to the French civil code.
Terminology of the new Civil Code regarding to property rights and analysis of equivalent expression in French

This bachelor thesis is focused on the introduction of the new Czech terminology of the new Civil Code regarding to the property rights. The main aim of this work is to analyse the selected terminology in the field of the law of property and search for possible legal equivalents in French. The secondary aim is to describe the basics of property rights in the Czech Republic and in France. The work is divided in a theoretical and a practical part. The theoretical part consists of two chapters. The first one, which was prepared with the expert sources, deals with legal language. It describes its attributes and pays great attention to lexical and syntactic characteristics of Czech and French legal language. The second chapter of the theoretical part focuses on traditional translation methods which are used in the translation of legal texts and on the problems associated with them. The practical part presents, in its first chapter, the new Civil Code and focuses especially on changes in property rights. The last chapter contains an analysis of relevant terms from the area of property rights and search for their equivalents in French legal language. Supplementary to this part is a Czech-French glossary and résumé in French.
Purchase contract

This thesis deals with the purchase contract. The purchase contract is the most widespread contract in the Czech Republic. In the first part there is the history of the purchase agreement described, the definition of the legal adjustment and the comprehensive view of the purchase contract. In the first part there is also the chapter called the comparison of purchase contract with the new Civil Code. In this part there are the most considerable changes defined and described. The new Civil Code is effective from the 1st of January 2014. In the second section there is the purchase agreement assembled. Every particular part is analyzed and described. The particular parts contain the own opinions and commentary. The purchase contract is closed on real estate. For the greater interest the other changes in the private law are pointed.
Contract on the lease of an enterprise – comparison of its regulations in the Czech Republic and in the Federal Republic of Germany

The thesis deals with the law of contract on the lease of an enterprise in the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to assess the applicable Czech legislation by its analysis and its subsequent comparison with the corresponding law of the enterprise lease in the Federal Republic of Germany. We aim at pointing out some inspiring aspects of the German enterprise lease legislation that can be inspiring for the Czech legal basis. The submitted thesis also provides an analysis of the enterprise lease concept introduced by the new Czech Civil Code compared with the current regulation.
Consumer Rights in the new Civil Code

The aim of this work is to find out, using the method of comparison, whether provisions of the new Civil Code correspond with the provisions of the Directive of Consumer Rights. Purchase contract

The topic of thesis is the purchase contract. The goal was to give its complete description, as it´s the most common type of contract, and to address everything that is related to this topic. The partial goal was to compare the civil and commercial legislation concerning the purchase agreement as well as taking into account the new Civil Code. The thesis is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. However, by definition it is clear that these two parts are interconnected and the whole work represents a complex text. The focus of the analysis is placed on a sample purchase contract. Individual provisions of the sample purchase contract are supplemented by commentary, which includes suggestions and recommendations as well as personal opinions de lege ferenda.
Insurance law and the impacts of the new Civil Code on insurance products

The thesis is mainly focused on the effects of the new Civil Code on insurance products and insurance industry as a whole. The emphasis is on change and impacts for insurance companies and their clients in liquidation of damages to property and damages to health from liability insurance of the vehicle and changes during interruption of insurance. One chapter is devoted to gender equality when calculating insurance premiums, which will take effect from 21.12.2012. This equality is based on the European Court of Justice and for the insurance market have a significant impact. At the end of the thesis,I summarize the basic legal standards in the insurance industry and their brief development.
Inheritance law from the view of current legal form and the changes of this legal form in the new Civil Code

The thesis deals with the problems of inheritance law. The main goal is the comparison of its legal form in the current Civil Code and in the new Civil Code, followed by the analyzing and the evaluating of the changes. The thesis concentrates on both legal forms of inheritance law to fulfil this goal. These legal forms are compared after and the changes are analyzed to answer the question, whether these changes are beneficial for citizens, why this part of law was changed and what its deficiency and correction is.
Inspirational Force of the General Austrian Civil Code in the Proposal of the Civil Code for the Czech Republic

The contribution indicates that the author is one of the key persons participating in the preparation of recodification of the Czech Civil Code. The author pays attention to the development of the proposal of the Code from the preliminaries and laying down the conceptual basis to passing the proposal by the government in May 2011. He points out that the main postulates adopted by the modern codification are ideas which were already expressed in the General Austrian Civil Code, such as respecting a person as a free individual and acceptance of the role of a judge as an authority which both applies and makes law.
