Air-cooled condenser
Kloda, Michal ; Jaroslav, Sinecký (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The Master’s thesis dealing with air-cooled condensers is split into four sections. The first section shows an overview of air cooling, introduction into air-cooled condensers of A-frame shape and finned tubes. The second section deals with heat transfer on the steam side and deals with trapped incondensables on the steam side of ACC. The third section deals with heat transfer on the air side, shows a brief overview of fans and selected problems on the air side. In the last section the simplified thedmodynamic calculation of air-cooled condenser is shown.
Heating and cooling for residences with complex energy supply system
Pavlíček, Michal ; Špiláček, Michal (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
Heating and cooling along with the indoor air quality is now discussed topic not only in the family houses. Goes hand in hand with reducing the energy consumption of buildings. This fact is edited by various laws or Regulations, no matter we discuss new buildings requirements, or for example energy label on older constructions.
Experimental and Numerical Assessment of the Heat Transfer Coeficients for Industrial Steam Turbine for Siemens Industrial Turbomachinery
Hladík, Petr ; Pospíšil, Jiří (referee) ; Hrabovský, Jozef (advisor)
The subject of this diploma thesis is experimental and numerical assessment of the heat transfer coefficients during condensation of water steam in simplified parts of an industrial steam turbine. This simplified part is a pipe with circular cross section, which is often used in simulations of processes inside the steam turbine. The first part of thesis describes theoretical basics of heat transfer during conduction, convection and condensation. The content of other chapters is description of methods used to determine heat transfer coefficient. These are: ex-perimental analysis performed on a measuring device and evaluated using finite element ana-lysis (FEA), computational fluid dynamics analysis (CFD) in ANSYS CFX and analytical calculations of heat transfer coefficients using mathematical models for condensation. Thesis is concluded by validation and comparison of obtained results.
Condensing Steam Turbine
Žáček, Ondřej ; Kracík, Petr (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The aim of the thesis „Condensing steam turbine“ is design of condensing steam turbine with uncontrolled extractions. The design is made according to assigned parameters. Balancing scheme of the turbine is defined at the beginning of the thesis. Then design of the regulation stage and reaction stages is accomplished. The calculation (thermodynamic and strength) is computed for mentioned two parts. For thermodynamic calculation is used ca/u method. In closing the design of the seal system is made.
Problems of flusing tank in terms of temperature and humidity
Vlach, František ; Gabzdyl, Milan ; Deutsch, Martin
The current theme of civil engineering is energy saving building and wholesomeness of internal spaces. This article deals with illustration the thermal processes in the tank flush. Part of the text contain measurement that gives idea of the studied element of plumbing.
High-speed Steam Turbine
Vitovská, Michaela ; Trojan, Aleš (referee) ; Trojan, Aleš (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The diploma thesis deals with the design of a high-speed steam turbine at given parameters provided by G-Team a.s. in Velka Bíteš. The introductory part briefly focuses on historical development of steam turbines, their operational principle and process of energy transformation. In the main part the machinery analysis of high-speed turbines has been carried out. In addition, a preliminary design of the number of turbine stages has been done. Furthermore, a thermodynamic calculation of flow channel for given input and output paramaters has been done together with the conception of construction design and turbogenerator layout. The final part introduces technical comparison of a one-stage and multy-stage high-speed steam turbine.
Condensation heat exchanger beyond CHP unit
Sojka, Jiří ; Baláš, Marek (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this thesis is to design the condensation heat exchanger for stationary engine running on natural gas. Flue gas condenser is designed for universal use of refrigerants (i.e. water or 35% fusion ethylene-glycol in water) and their working temperatures. The work includes theoretical, computational and design part. In the attachment is located the drawing documentation to flue gas condenser.
Design of heating water heat exchanger, capacity 200 MW
Vašíček, Jakub ; Kól, Přemysl (referee) ; Baláš, Marek (advisor)
The thesis is focused on the design proposal of thermal heaters for heating water in heat-exchanger station with a total output of 200 MW. The aim of the work is conceptual design of heat exchangers, thermal and hydraulic design of individual heaters and preview of flow of mass and energy. The outputs of the work are written calculations, design drawing of one heater and design of a heater arrangement in exchanger station. The objectives of the work are filled completely. The work is focused on issues directly related to the actual design of heat exchangers, does not give a general overview of the topic. Thermal calculation is limited to the calculation of heat transfer surfaces for condensation of steam and condensate hypothermia.
Calculations of steam condensers
Mifek, Roman ; Kilkovský, Bohuslav (referee) ; Jegla, Zdeněk (advisor)
This thesis deals with the calculation procedures for determining the heat transfer coefficient for steam condensers. The first section provides a basic overview for industrial steam condensers and possible procedure for selecting the appropriate type of tube condenser. The next section describes the types of condensation and equations for determining the heat transfer coefficient for various geometries of tubular condensers. In the final section there is performed practical calculation of condenser in Maple software using the above relations. The results obtained in this calculation are compared with the results obtained by professional computational software Chemcad and HTRI.
High-speed Steam Turbine
Albrecht, Jan ; Škorpík, Jiří (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
Main aim of presented master thesis is focused on construction of high speed steam turbine. Steam turbine is designed based on parameters of waste incineration plant in Brno. First chapters shortly summarized historical development, transformation process and work principal of steam turbine. Consequently on first captures is in depth described impulse and reaction blading including expansion in i-s diagram and basic equations for efficiency calculations. In major part of master thesis is firstly discussed conceptual possibilities of turbine application for given parameters. Based on chosen concept is compiled algorithm for thermodynamic calculation for each turbine module. Simplify calculation of gearbox is included as well. Based on calculations are compiled construction drawings of all parts of steam turbine.
