This bachelor thesis deals with a game called Geocaching. The theoretical part characterizes the origin, meaning and development of Geocaching. Next part describes the principle of this game and brings some assumptions why people play it. The practical part analyses results of the survey and compares them to the assumptions. Motivation of a working behaviour in management concepts.
ŠTENGL, Michal
This work is focused on the rating of motivation in the concepts of two companies that I chose. The selected companies are EvoBus Bohemia Ltd. and City print. At first was necessary to define the theoretical lines of the problem using the selected literature. On the basis of this, I have established the methodical process and identified three hypotheses, which I reviewed in the conclusion. According to this process, I analysed how managers of selected companies motivate their subordinates and what methods they use. Then I revealed the inadequacies of the companies and in which direction they could improve their motivation. For each company I set specific recommendations in the motivation system.

ŠTĚPÁNOVÁ, Martina
The bachelor degree thesis called ? Meeting the need of security and safety of mothers and newborns at the postnatal ward " is divided into theoretical and empirical parts. The theoretical part describes nursing care of newborns in order to meet the needs of security and safety of newborns and their mothers (identification of newborns, rooming-in, breast-feeding, comfort, safe handling and hygienic care). The objective No. 1 in the empirical part was to map the tasks of midwives / pediatric nurses in meeting the needs of security and safety of mothers and newborns. The formulated hypothesis was: Midwives / pediatric nurses are involved in meeting the needs of security and safety of mothers and newborns. The quantitative research used the method of inquiring with a questionnaire technique. The surveyed group consisted of 60 midwives / pediatric nurses working at neonatology wards. The objective No. 2 was to map how the meeting of the needs of security and safety of newborns is perceived by mothers at the postnatal ward. The formulated research question was: How do the mothers perceive the meeting of the needs of security and safety at the postnatal ward? The qualitative research used the method of inquiring with a technique of in-depth interview. The surveyed group consisted of 5 mothers hospitalized at the postnatal ward and their children hospitalized in the station of physiological newborns in the Hospital in České Budějovice. The objective No. 3 was to map how the mothers observe measures aimed at security and safety (rules of safe handling of newborns in general). The research question was formulated as follows: How the mothers observe measures aimed at meeting the needs of security and safety (rules of safe handling of newborns in general)? Also this part of research was qualitative, using the method of observation and a record sheet technique. The surveyed group was the same as in the previous case. All the objectives have been met. Based on the submitted results the hypothesis No. 1 has been confirmed. Midwives / pediatric nurses are involved in meeting the needs of security and safety. The research question No. 1 has been answered. The mothers ranked the meeting of the needs of security and safety positively, in 4 cases out of 5. The research question No. 2 has been answered as well. The mothers seek to observe the measures aimed at meeting the needs of security and safety, however, the weakest point is still the handling of newborns. Therefore an educational brochure has been developed for the mothers. The results of the research will be communicated to midwives / pediatric nurses working in the station of physiological newborns at the neonatology ward in the Hospital in České Budějovice. The bachelor degree thesis may serve as a source of information for future students of midwifery.

DOPITOVÁ, Pavla
The amputation is currently quite a common measure, the most common cause of which is complications of people who suffer form diabetes; it is so called a diabetic foot. Another group of people involves people with severe limb injuries. The sick people who are expected to undergo amputation are admitted to hospitals at surgical ortraumatology standard wards or intensive care units, and it is necessary that nurses have theoretical knowledge as well as practical nursing skills related to those patients because if a sick person wants to start a full-value life after the amputation, he or she needs to be provided with a quality nursing care. Hypothesis 3: The nurses focus on physical needs of the client. All three hypotheses have not been confirmed. The objectives of the thesis have been fulfilled. The Nutrition Need Providing for Monotheistic Religion Patients.
PANUŠKOVÁ, Monika
As suggested by the title ``Meeting the Nutrition Needs of Patients {--} Followers of Monotheistic Religions{\crqq}, the work deals with the nutrition as one of the fundamental needs of every person and it informs readers about monotheistic religions. The work consists of a theoretical part and a research part. The theoretical part focuses on the nutrition needs and provides general information about monotheistic religions. It deals particularly with given nutrition specifics and requirements of followers of each given faith which affect healthcare facilities and nursing care. The research part seeks to explain the issue from various viewpoints. The information is provided by followers of the concerned monotheistic religions, who present their nutrition rules and their experience with healthcare facilities, by nurses from internal medicine and surgical wards of selected hospitals, who explain how they deal with the requirements of the believers, and, last but not least, by nutrition therapists, who present their knowledge of the relevant nutrition needs and how they address them. The purpose of the work is to determine how the nutrition needs of patients following monotheistic religions are met. For better orientation the following research questions were formulated: 1. Are the nutrition therapists in hospitals familiar with nutrition specifics of monotheistic religions? 2. Are hospital patients, who are followers of monotheistic religions, allowed to observe their nutrition specifics with regard to their health condition? The research has shown that nutrition therapists do not often meet patients who are followers of monotheistic religions or they rather do not know about their faith. Their knowledge is therefore weak but, if need be, they would be willing to consult with the patients their specific needs and requirements for food or to find necessary information in literature. The research has further shown that hospitals attempt to accommodate the needs of patients who are followers of monotheistic religions. If requested by the patient, nurses in most cases inform the nutrition therapist accordingly. The therapists then talks to the patient and they jointly find an acceptable solution. The results of the research may be used to improve the quality of meeting the nutrition needs of patients who are followers of monotheistic religions.

Experiencing an air transport by the patients.
GROULÍKOVÁ, Markéta
Abstract The topic of this undergraduate thesis is experiencing an air transport by the patients. It is undisputable that every change of state of health means a great change for everyone and has a negative impact on one´s psyche. The goal of my thesis was to find out how the patients experience an air transport to a hospital. The particular aims of my thesis were to investigate if the patients are informed about the air transport beforehand, whether they are afraid of the take off or the landing, what the patients find most unpleasant during the transport, if the crew seems professional to the patients. Also the following hypotheses were defined: H1 {--} the fear from the transport differs from the fear from severe state of health, H2 {--} women tend to be more afraid than men. In order to obtain larger amount of information about this problem, I included in the research group men and women of broader age spectrum. The research group was represented by ten respondents. Among these respondents there were not only patients transported from one hospital to another {--} secondary transport, but also patients transported directly from the terrain to a medical institution. A semi-structured interwiew oriented on information and feelings of each respondent was conducted. The interviews proceeded in two stages. The first stage of the interview was carried out before the patient´s transport to a hospital. The second part of the questions was dealt with after the arrival at a heliport. The results of the interviews were compiled in ten casuistries. The hypothesis H1 was affirmed. The hypothesis H2 was not affirmed. The aims of the research were fulfilled. In the thesis it was pointed out that the patients air transported to a hospital are most worried about their state of health and long term hospitalization. The fear from the flight itself is smaller. The results of the thesis prove that the patients are informed about the air transport by a doctor. The patients expect more information from the doctor. The patients were satisfied with the crew but lacked information about the length of the flight. The undergraduate thesis could be used as a source of information for doctors, nurses and paramedics who deal with the patients transported to a hospital by a helicopter. They can help the patients improve experiencing an air transport by providing them with more information concerning the transport by a helicopter.
