The thesis provides an evaluation of monetary policy of the European central bank during the last financial crisis, mainly by using the Taylor rule. Different modifications of the Taylor rule will be compared and the best version will be used for an estimation of desired interest rate of member states of the eurozone. It will allow to compare their preferences with monetary policy of the European central bank.

Dopady depreciace rublu na ruskou ekonomiku

This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of the influence of rouble depreciation on the overall state of the Russian economy. The first part of the thesis explains the theoretical background, which relate to the mentioned problems. The thesis also describes and analyses the historical depreciation of selected currencies, including the rouble. The practical part analyses the pre-crisis development and the conse- quent impact of the exchange rate drop on the state economy, using the results of analyses of selected economic indicators, based on comparison analysis of the largest branches and enterprises, and based on the conclusions of the impact of the exchange rate depreciation on the economy.

The impact of the financial crisis on the Eurozone and the EU states with own currency

Thesis focusses on impact of global financial crisis 2008-2009 on Eurozone countries and countries with own currency. This is analysed via chosen macroeconomic indicators from databases of International Monetary Fund and Eurostat. Goal of the thesis is to assess the impact on indicators and provide statistical base for decision, whether membership in Eurozone in times of crisis is beneficial for countries or not. To serve this purpose, models of panel data with fixed and random effects and method Difference in Difference are used.

The topic of my bachelor thesis is a change in the implementation of monetary policy in Denmark and Sweden as a result of the recent financial crisis. The first part of the thesis briefly mentions the introduction to the theory of traditional monetary policy and subsequently mentions changes in the implementation of monetary policy as a result of the recent financial crisis with an emphasis on unconventional monetary policy instruments. The second part will present the Danish and Swedish central banks. In the third part, the monetary policy in both coun-tries during the crisis and after the crisis will be described and then both countries will be compared. The final part will show the positive impact of unconven-tional monetary policy on the country's economy.

Cibulka, O. Factors influencing the amount of sales in accommodation and catering facilities in the Czech Republic. Diploma thesis. Brno: Mendel University, 2019. The thesis deals with the quantification of factors affecting the amount of sales in the area of accommodation, catering and hospitality in the Czech Republic. In addition to assessing the significance of these factors, the development of sales in the observed area is examined. To do this, a model is drawn up that describes the behaviour of sales of the given facilities, and on the basis of which the prediction of values for the next 5 quarters is then made. Subsequently, the impact of the financial crisis on the size of sales in the observed area is clarified. Finally, according to the findings, appropriate recommendations for improving the quality of provided services in the observed area are created.

The assessment concerns Slovenian and Slovak banking sectors and takes account of the financial and economic crisis. It also focuses on the development of ownership structure of the two sectors.

It is based on finding and demonstrating of the causality between the global financial crisis of 2009 and the following development of political situation in state. The subject is examined by the critical discourse analysis method of the election results of Greece and Italy.

The thesis identifies the impact of the financial crisis on the banking sector of the Czech Republic. The reader is introduced with the most considerable causes of the recent crisis. Subsequently, the beginning of the crisis in the USA and impact on ČR and EÚ is identified. The core of the thesis is the analysis of the banking sector based on the evolution of credits, deposits and profits in the Czech Republic during the crisis. In conclusion there is the comparison of the knowledge from the conducted analysis with the studies of the authors included in the theoretical part of the thesis.
