The Analysis on Financing of Credit Financial Instruments for Small Businesses
KUTÍLKOVÁ, Aneta
This thesis deals with the analysis of the credit process as a form of financing from foreign sources The theoretical part of this thesis deals with the characteristics of the credit business, furthermore with explanation of the terms connected with bank loans, which are the main focus of the theoretical part. Not least, alternative forms of financing are mentioned, which banks offer next to the credits mostly by means of their branches. The practical part analyzes the process of credit offers in the chosen banking institutions, the application process of granting the loan for buying a car i.e. what an applicant has to hand in and which conditions he has to fulfill, so that the bank would in general accept his application. At the same time, some leasing companies were addressed with an application for a not {--} binding offer for the same object of financing. On the basis of performed calculations it has been found that the financing of the bank loan is more advantageous for the company than leasing and that the client gets more easily a bank loan in the bank, in which he has a checking account
Education of patients in dialysis programme
PINKASOVÁ, Eva
Kidney diseases belong among the most serious ones. It is difficult for a person suffering from this kind of disease to accept his/her state of health and to learn to live with it. Education in nephrology is indispensable and it is an important means to improve the quality of life of a dialyzed patient. The education is provided by the physician and the nurse. The nephrological nurse informs the patient and his family, educates and trains him/her in order to achieve optimal rehabilitation and the patient's independence. This bachelor thesis deals with education of clients in dialysis programme. The research survey was a quantitative one, to collect data anonymous questionnaires were applied questioning nurses and patients at nephrology departments. The research was carried out in chosen hospitals of the South Bohemian Region, in Písek, Tábor and Prachatice. The clients were distributed 110 questionnaires in total, 65 (100%) of which were used for the research. Nurses of the hemodialysis centers were offered 27 questionnaires, of which 15 (100%) were applied. This paper has set two goals, the first of which was to determine whether nurses provide education of dialyzed patients applying written material. The second goal aimed at finding out whether dialyzed patients are satisfied with the level of care provided by the education. These goals have been fulfilled. Three hypotheses were set. The first hypothesis presumed that nurses at hemodialysis center carry out the education solely by means of written materials. This hypothesis was not confirmed, for nurses apply also other forms of education. The second hypothesis presumed that dialyzed patients are positive about the written materials at the dialysis center. This hypothesis was confirmed. More than one half of patients, 35 out of 65, said they were provided information by means of written material and they considered this method comprehensible. The third hypothesis presumed that within education at the hemodialysis center the patients' questions were always answered. This hypothesis was also confirmed. The research has shown that nurses at hemodialysis centers educate patients by means of written material and they also discuss the issue with patients. Dialyzed patients are satisfied with the level of education and they consider the information received comprehensible and they are given enough time for questions and have a sufficient feedback. By means of this education the patients get new knowledge, new skills and a different view on the hierarchy of values. The right understanding and attitude to his/her state and treatment are necessary. Respecting the process of treatment, respecting the diet the patient may slow down the disease and delay the artificial replacement of lost kidney function. It is therefore very important to keep education of dialyzed patients in mind.
The influence of the client´s home environment on the quality of nursering care provided by a home care agency
VONEŠOVÁ, Petra
Home care in its full extent respects client`s integrity with his/her own social environment. The task of home care is to secure nursing care corresponding to client`s actual needs respecting his/her health condition. Home environment and presence of close people have an immediate impact on human psyche playing a significant role in the healing process. Absence of nosocomial infections is an advantage of providing a client with nursing care in his/her home environment; however, social environment being sometimes unsatisfactory, unwillingness to alter the home environment according to the actual needs and not following the healing regime can be a disadvantage. The aim of the thesis was to find out the way client`s home environment influences the quality of the nursing care provided by Agentura domácí péče (Home Care Agency). The research was carried out using the method of a qualitative research, by half-standardized interviewing nurses and clients of Agentura domácí péče. Five nurses working for Agentura domácí péče were the first research sample. Four clients being provided with the home care regularly several days per week for a period of several years were the other research sample. Clients` case reports were compůeted with observation of their own environment while interviewing. The research suggests that the quality of the provided nursing care is influenced by several factors {--} mainly by collaboration of the client and his/her family, by the condition of the home environment and by collaboration with the attending physician. Concerning the nurses, their theoretical knowledge and practical skills are of high importance. Two hypotheses were established based on the results. H1: In order to secure continuous home nursing care, collaboration with family is essential. H2: The quality of the nursing care provided by nurses of home care agency is influenced by the condition of the home environment. In conjunction with the research, specifications of home care were clarified and possible problems a nurse providing nursing care in the home environment can face were mapped.
The Application of the Virginia Henderson{\crq}s Model in Retirement Home Nursing Care.
KADEŘÁBKOVÁ, Věra
The Application of the Virginia Henderson{\crq}s Model in Retirement Home Nursing Care. Basic unit of the V. Henderson{\crq}s model is the clients{\crq} independence when satisfying their needs. The client is seen as an individual with the needs of assistance when trying to reach health, independence, and peaceful death. The lack of strength, will and knowledge are seen as the source of troubles. The needs the client is not able to satisfy and is in need of assistance are by V. Henderson called as the focus point intervention. The nurse assists to substitute, complete, support or increase the patient{\crq}s strength, will and knowledge. The outcome is the unaided performance in satisfying personal needs or peaceful death. The information about the needs is not documented in the uniform way and that is why every single ward and institution creates its own documentation system, according to its own specifics. The nursing documentation is always inseparable part of the nursing process. This model is determined by its specifics to be used appropriately in elderly people. The goal of this work was to find out all possibilities in using the Virginia Henderson{\crq}s model when caring of clients in the retirement home. There were placed three main questions of the research: 1.To what extents are satisfied the needs of client in the house for elderly people when using nursing documentation compiled according to V. Henderson? 2. Is there any influence of using V. Henderson{\crq}s model of nursing documentation on nursing practice in the retirement home? To what extent are nurses comfortable with the V. Henderson{\crq}s nursing documentation system? The collecting of data was done by the qualitative research investigation, the technique of the direct observation of nurses{\crq} caretaking of the clients, and by detailed interview with the nurses. The research had been done at Retirement Home at Strakonice from April to June 2009. There was created nursing documentation according to V. Henderson{\crq}s system. This documentation was filled out by a nurse and client and followed by searching for the needs of the client and their satisfaction. The nursing planned out specific care of a particular client using nursing process after filling out particular documentation. There has been led direct observation of caretaking provided under new nursing documentation. To assess the care, there was developed the point scale for evaluation of the client needs satisfaction (1-Satisfied, 2-Rather Satisfied, 3-Rather Unsatisfied,4-Unsatisfied). As a next we have been evaluating client{\crq}s level of strength, will and knowledge to be able to satisfy his/her needs (he/she is independent, partly independent, and dependent). The observation outcomes demonstrated that nurses were able to satisfy all of the 14 clients{\crq} needs in most. There were done case reports out of the observations and the results were processed into comprehensible charts. The nurses had been working with the nursery documentation for months followed by detailed interview aimed to inspect the usage of this documentation in nursing of elderly people. All of the five nurses agreed on the applicability of the documentation in nursing practice and that was why the documentation was modified under nurses{\crq} notes and has been applied in practice since. The research goal was accomplished. The nursing documentation has always been integral part of nurse{\crq}s work.It provides all needed information concerning the patient. It can be considered as the prove of ``lege artis{\crq}q practice of the work done. The documentation also serves as the record which is being used for health insurance billing.
The role of the nurse in providing care to patients with short bowel syndrome
BUNDOVÁ, Jana
Short Bowel syndrome characteristically belongs whithin a groop of recognizable symptoms which result from the loss of small intestine or damaged absorption. Because of the advancement of complex medication and intravenous feeding, home patient care is continously increasing. In the year 2008 intravenous feeding was used upon 57 adult patients in 15 health centres. These patients are vulnerable to the full range of complications. Among the most freekvent complications are infections of the location where the needle is injected. The role of the nurse towards the patient is irreplaceable due to the importance of the care resting upon the nurse to ensure no infection can originate. This research deals with the difficulty of the nurse´s role assigned care of the patient with Short Bowel syndrome. The goal of this project is to map out the level of information and experiences which nurses have regarding the care of those patients whit this afliction. A further goal is to discover how careful the patients are regarding the use and care of intravenous catheter to keep infection away. From the analysis obtained, the majority of the nurses have enough informations conserning the care of patients with Short bowel syndrome. These nurses consider the care of these patients to be every bit as demanding as the care required for patients with other condicions. Nurses are now capable of taking control of this care. This viewpoint is supported by even patients who have this condition who have had faverable experiences. Patients are now well enough informed to be able to indepenndently administer intravenuous injections in ther own home envirement, but always in the copany of family members or a home care assistent
Photographic documentation, its use and benefits for the branch of nursing.
VINCOUROVÁ, Barbora
The Bachelor Thesis ``Photographic documentation, its use and benefits for the branch of nursing`` focuses on the use of this method in the nursing practice. The theoretical part characterises the nursing process and the medical documentation within the scope of which the photographic documentation would be used. Another part of the present state focuses on the photographic documentation method and its benefits in practice, describes terms and aids for the suitable keeping of photographic documentation. Further, it lists possibilities of use and knowledge obtained from foreign literature. An interesting aspect in the keeping of photographic documentation is using the informed consent. Examples of the practical use of photographic documentation are presented in the last chapter of the theoretical part. Three objectives are set for the research part. The first one concerns the use of photographic documentation in the branch of nursing, the second objective is to find out nurses{\crq} opinions of incorporating about photographic documentation in the branch of nursing, and the third objective of the thesis focuses on clients{\crq} opinions in the keeping of photographic documentation. To evaluate the objectives, five research hypotheses were created that focus on the benefits of the use of photographic documentation in the nursing process, whether nurses have met with this method in professional journals and whether photographic documentation is used as a motivation means for the nursing practice. Hypotheses laid down for clients focus on the agreement with creating photographic documentation and whether they see benefits of keeping this method. The methodology was laid down by means a quantitative research investigation, which consists in handing out anonymous questionnaires for nurses and inquiries for clients in selected surgery, intern and dermatology departments in the Czech Republic. The evaluation of the research investigation was conducted in the Microsoft Excel 2007 programme in the form of graphs that were used in the results. After evaluating the results, the proposals for practice consist in the technical training of nurses - specialists on the photographic documentation and in the education of the broad medical and non-professional public on this method.
The differencis of nurse treatment by Patients with TEP(total hip replecament) and with CCEP(cerviko capital replecament).
BUKÁČKOVÁ, Kristýna
This bachelor thesis focuses on the differences in nursing care of patients after TEP (total endoprosthesis) and after CCEP (cervical-capital endoprosthesis). The reason that led me to deal with this subject was the fact that I consider the knowledge of this matter as well as observing its principles by nurses for necessary. The objective of the thesis was to find out whether nurses know the difference in the nursing care of patients after TEP and CCEP, and whether they observe the differences in the nursing care. These objectives were fulfilled in the bachelor thesis. Two hypotheses were laid down. Hypothesis 1: Nurses know the difference in nursing care of patients after TEP and CCEP. Hypothesis 2: Nurses observe the difference in nursing care of patients after TEP and CCEP. The hypotheses were confirmed. The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the anatomy and physiology of the hip bone and the historical development of endoprostheses. Further, the subject of the TEP and CCEP is dealt with here. It contains descriptions of the differences in the nursery care that nurses should put a lot of emphasis on and observe them. In the research part, the quantitative investigation by means of the questioning method, in the form of a questionnaire, and the qualitative research by means of the method of participating hidden observation, were chosen to verify the hypotheses. In practice, this thesis may be used in seminars, in which even the results of investigations may be dealt with, thus increasing the quality of the nursing care of patients after TEP (total endoprosthesis) and CCEP (cervical-capital endoprosthesis).
Contentment of retirements homes clients with nursing care.
PECHOVÁ, Veronika
This bachelor thesis focuses on satisfaction of clients with nursing care in senior citizen homes. The theoretical part of my thesis describes old age and aging, changes in old age, the importance of family support, quality of provided care and also senior citizen homes. In the practical part I have compared two - in terms of size - different senior citizens homes. The main objective was to determine the level of satisfaction of clients in the senior citizen homes with the provided nursing care. Three hypotheses were formulated for the purpose. H1: Clients of the senior citizens homes are satisfied with the nursing care; H2: The size of senior citizen homes affects satisfaction of the clients with the nursing care; and H3: The size of senior citizen homes affects overall satisfaction of the clients. The research used a qualitative survey method with questionnaires. The questionnaire contained 23 questions. Two senior citizens homes were selected to collect data. The first one was a big senior citizens home Máj in České Budějovice, with the capacity of 127 clients, and the second one was a smaller senior citizen home in Kaplice for 54 clients. 50 questionnaires were distributed in each facility, i.e. 100 questionnaires in total. The results have shown that 50% of the clients ranked the nursing care as excellent and 38% as very good. This means that the hypothesis No. 1 has been confirmed. Also the hypothesis No. 2 has been confirmed as clients in the smaller facility had more confidence in the nursing staff as a result of a closer and more personal relationship and therefore they also gave better ranking to the quality of nursing care. The hypothesis No. 3 has not been confirmed. The size of senior citizen homes does not affect the overall satisfaction of the clients. The comparison of results from the questionnaires from the involved facilities has shown that both the homes have their pros and contras. Among the advantages clients from the smaller home mentioned a more personal approach, family atmosphere and sufficiently quiet environment. As a negative they mentioned lack of cultural activities. In the bigger facility the clients praised opportunities to enjoy cultural life but they did not like lack of quiet environment and a less personal approach of the nursing staff.
The Options of Activation in the Clients of an Old People´s Home in the Tábor Region
MICÁKOVÁ, Vladimíra
My baccalaureate work deals with the topic ``The Options of Activation in the Clients of an Old People´s Home in the Tábor Region{\crqq}. Demographic studies have shown a rapid increase in the numbers of old people in society, and, as a result of this fact, the numbers of senior citizens accommodated in old people´s homes have grown, too. It is essential to improve the quality of provided services in these institutions so that senior citizens get the opportunity to develop leisure time activities in compliance with their interests, to be engaged in these activities in accordance with their abilities and, finally, not to lose the sense of a meaningful life. One of the options how to achieve the above goals, at least partially, is the individual approach of the staff as well as well-designed activations programmes, which will increase the quality of life of clients. The objective of my work has been to monitor the activation options in selected institutions of the Tábor Region in the Old People´s Home Tep based in Veselí nad Lužnící and in the Senior Home located in Soběslav. The qualitative research approach was selected. The first method used was the SWOT analysis describing strong and weak sides, opportunities and risks of activation programmes in these institutions. A partial goal consisted in comparing the offered activities with the individual clients´ interests and achieved rate of satisfaction. For comparison purposes the method of semi-controlled interviews with clients and staff was applied. 20 clients and 5 staff members from each institution were selected by random choice. The research results suggest that the objectives of my baccalaureate work have been fulfilled. The research has shown that a suitable selection of an activation programme based on the individual needs and wishes of the clients results in the feeling of happiness, satisfaction and a meaningful life. At the same time, the physical and psychic condition of the client can be improved. The results of my baccalaureate work provide a more detailed information and survey on activation programmes rendered in accommodation institutions for senior citizens. They can also serve as a feedback for the needs of staff in these institutions in terms of the evaluation of the satisfaction of clients with offered activities.
Nursing problems with a client suffering from pollen allergy
DOLEŽEL, Jakub
The seasonal allergic rhinitis, pollinosis, is the most common allergic disorder the occurrence of which, as well as other allergies, has substantially increased over recent years. It affects up to one fifth of population. This type of allergy may develop at any time during the lifetime, but it most frequently occurs between ages 15 and 25. The topic of the thesis is: Aspects of nursing in patients suffering from allergic rhinitis. The aim of my thesis was to find out if patients are familiar with regimen measures in allergic rhinitis, the role of a nurse in an allergic rhinitis patient´s education, if patients show interest in obtaining information on allergic rhinitis and which information sources on allergic rhinitis are used by patients. The coverage of the issue is based on specialist literature and the quantitative research conducted. The quantitative research is composed of two parts. The first research group was formed by patients suffering from allergic rhinitis who come to allergist´s office. The questionnaire technique was used to collect relevant data. The other research group was composed of nurses working in allergist´s offices. The data were gained by the interview method, the technique of a structured interview. The first hypothesis predicating that patients do not know the regimen measures was rejected both by the questionnaire technique and the interview method. The second hypothesis stating that nurses do not educate patients with allergic rhinitis was also rejected both by the questionnaire investigation and the structured interview. The third hypothesis claiming that patients do not show interest in obtaining information on allergic rhinitis was rejected both by the questionnaire technique and the interview method. The fourth hypothesis presuming that the most frequent source of information on allergic rhinitis are information brochures was confirmed by the questionnaire research. In my thesis I used excerpts from 22 resources of Czech and foreign literature dealing not only with the topic of allergic rhinitis.
