Korozně únavové poškození vysokopevné potrubní oceli L485MB
Gajdoš, Lubomír ; Šperl, Martin
Aim is to assess the degree of degradation of fatigue properties of L485MB steel (ArcelorMittal Ostrava) in corrosive environment in comparison with normal fatigue properties.
Evaluation of the reliability of steel structures exposed to corrosion
Křivý, V. ; Marek, Pavel
This paper deals with the application of the probabilistic SBRA method to the reliability assessment of steel bar structures, where as main attention is paid to the valuation of possible corrosion effects. Advances in computer technology and informatics create assumptions for apposite reliability valuation of new designed as well as existing structures exposed to corrosion effects. Utilization of probabilistic simulation-based methods can offer to the designer’s quite easy, but simultaneously efficient and applicable tool for analysis of steel structures exposed to corrosion effects.
Fatigue analysis of defects in pipe welds from view of position and geometry
Němec, Jaroslav ; Šperl, Martin
The effect of the weld root appeared to be much more unfavourable than the effect of the weld cap.
SBRA Concept in Corrosion Modelling and Inspection Planning
Korouš, Jan ; Marek, Pavel
The paper turns attension to the application of the SimulationBased Reliability Assessment Method (SBRA) in case of a structu-ral member exposed to tension and to corrosion. The probabilityof failure, as a function of time, is calculated using directMonte Carlo simulation.
Damaging Processes of Gas Pipelines in a Long-Time Operation
Gajdoš, Lubomír
The individual types of damage, which can occur during operation of gas pipelines, are assessed from the mechanical point ofview. Besides description of particular damaging processes, taking place in gas pipelines during operation, quantitative definitions of damage in faatigue, stress corrosion, general corrosion and pitting corrosion are proposed. Further a determination of critical parameters for individual kinds of damage is presented.
Electrochemical Corrosion of Adhesive Joints
Vondrák, Jiří
The mechanism of corrosion, observed on adhesivejoints of steel to plastic, was explained by thesorption of hydrogen by steel and subsequentcreation of mechanical stresses.
Study of stagnant water occurrences and dripping waters in caves: Chemical composition and remarks to corrosion of dripstones
Zeman, Ondřej ; Bruthans, J. ; Filippi, Michal ; Vysoká, H.
Slight stagnant water occurrences (drops) were studied in four caves in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. Major components were analyzed (Na+, K+, Ca2+, Mg2+, SO42-, Cl-, NO3-), pH, conductivity and temperature were measured in the field. Results are shown in table 1. Waters coming from condensation differs by higher amount of sulphate and some other components if compared with dripping waters.
