Experiential learning on the topic of water as an indispensable part of life

The bachelor thesis is focused on the environmental education program in preschool education. In the field of environment, it focuses on water issues. The goal is to raise awareness of the importance of water on our planet and for our daily lives. The theoretical part describes the origin of water, its properties, use and water cycle. It also discusses environmental education in preschool education. The practical part contains a one-week project, which was tested and implemented in the class of preschool children. An integral part is the record of the project, photo documentation, worksheets and evaluation of each day of the weekly program.
Expedition in search of spring - activities to strengthen environmental awareness in pre-school education

The bachelor thesis is focused on environmental education in kindergarten, especially on activities that strengthen environmental feelings and also relate to the spring aspect. The theoretical part deals with terminology, the importance of environmental education and its methods. He mentions the topic of a preschool child, and especially the relationship between the child and nature, ways of implementing environmental education in kindergarten and marginal descrioption of the spring aspect in Czech nature. The practical part through the use of knowledge from the theoretical part into the practise of the weekly thematic unit under Expedition in search of spring. Forest newspaper - support for environmental education in preschool education

The bachelor thesis is focused on environmental education in preschool education and its main goal is to present a teaching project on the topic of forest ecosystem. The environmental project is in the form of a monothematic issue of a newspaper called "Forest newspaper", which aims at the issue of the forest ecosystem and contains comprehensive educational activities to support the teaching of environmental education in kindergartens. The theoretical part deals with the concept of environmental education, its characteristics, methodological elements and the possibility of using forest pedagogy. The practical part is based on a semi-structured interview. It is devoted to the evaluation of work with Forest newspaper in practice in kindergarten and in the family environment, with children of preschool age. Based on the obtained positive evaluation of this project, the work on the project will continue and the next issue of Forest newspaper will be published.
Education programs with theme "Life in the soil" for kindergartens

This diploma thesis deals with educational programs for kindergartens with the theme "Life in Soil". The theoretical part deals with environmental education in kindergartens and its forms. Furthermore, it focuses on various aspects of the topic "Life in Soil", such as the properties of the soil, organisms we can find there, their characteristics, how to observe them and the definition of a compost. The practical part of the thesis describes educational programs and activities, children's motivation and overlap with other parts of the school educational program of preschool education, and also the necessary aids. It discusses specific forms of the activities - they should be rich in information, comprehensible, engaging all senses, using children's activity and creativity, strengthening their independent decision-making and thinking and, last but not least, entertaining. The diploma thesis presents two educational programs for kindergartens. The educational programs have already been organized several times and they have met with a positive response. The thesis brings proposals of everyday activities related to the topic "Life in Soil" for children in kindergartens reflecting various aspects of their education - the development of the senses, mathematical concepts, vocabulary, pre-reading literacy, graphomotoric skills, cognitive abilities and knowledge, as well as art and work activities, physical activities, outdoor activities and music and drama education. It also contains an evaluation of the past activities. The topic "Life in Soil" was chosen with respect to its overlap with natural sciences and environmental protection.
Honey bee - didactic model for environmental education in preschool education

The main task of this thesis is to present ideas for educational activities for preschool education, which are focused on the honey bee. Each performed activity contains detailed description of the activity, its own implementation and reflection.
Freshwater world - educational program for environmental education in preschool education

The topic of this bachelor's thesis is an environmental program about a freshwater world. The goal is to establish and support a positive relationship towards surrounding nature and environment in preschool children. Also the goal is to create activities, that connect several areas of an early childhood education curriculum, through the topic of the freshwater world. Each theme will present a detailed methodical description and possible other related materials. The theoretical part introduces the freshwater world in general, animals and plants living in it. It also presents the evolution of an amphibian (a frog) and focuses on the water circulation system in the nature. The practical part introduces a one week project, that can be used as a methodical material for teachers, not only in the early childhood education facilities. The bachelor's thesis presents a draft of an environmental teaching program for kindergartens. This program has been tested with preschool children and was rated positively by respondents. The evaluation of tested activities also is a part of this thesis.
Interdisciplinary teaching in the environment of school gardens on primary schools

The main aim of the work is to make an offer of educational activities for primary school, which will be used in the school garden environment. At the same time, it will be applied intersubject relations in them. The selection of the topics was based on an analysis of The Framework Educational Program and textbooks of FRAUS publishing. The six areas of educational activities include detailed instructions for realization, worksheets, and other teaching aids. All activities were verified in the school garden of Horka-Domky, Třebíč primary school. On the testing participated pupils in the third and fifth year of primary school. Success was evaluated by pre-test (test of input knowledge) and post-test (test of output knowledge), realized before the teaching and a week after. For the Art lesson was used a questionnaire about the popularity of the lesson and satisfaction with their own artefact. The results show that pupil's input knowledge was at a very high level. They achieved the greatest improvement in educational activities focused on English vocabulary and measurement. According to the questionnaire was the lesson of the Art assessed as fun. Pupils appreciated working outdoors.
Educational Project for Environmental Education at Kindergarten.

This bachelor thesis follows up the mening of environmental education and its inclusion in educational process in a nursery school in the Czech Republic. It includes pretest, which examines default nursery kids knowledge and compares it with newly acquired knowledge in posttest. It also includes a weekly set of activities where children can learn informations about forest, trees, forest animals and flowers. This project seeks to deepen childrens knowledge and their interest in nature.
Living things in preprimary environmental education.
KUDRNOVÁ, Lucie
The bachelor thesis points out the importance of environmental education in preschool education. The thesis introduces the methods and means of environmental education and maps the importance of the use of natural resources. Through observations and small experiments with natural resourses, it proves its positive effect on children's knowledge. The offered methodology shows a comparison of environmental and multimedia education and their impact on the child's perception. Interviews with teachers show a partial goal of the thesis, namely the proposal of an educational program that includes more frequent use of natural resources in the education of preschool children.
The educational projects of natural science with an element of project teaching for the 2nd grade of elementary school
ŠLAPÁKOVÁ, Hana
This diploma thesis submits four educational programs for primary school pupils called "Ants"; "We are Flying to Africa"; "The Fellowship of The Forest" and "Waterworld". Including these programs, you will also find a set of teaching aids and activities for the 2nd year of primary school, which are designed for teachers and children. The projects were created on the basis of an analysis of several selected topics - Water in The Landscape, Life on Another Continent, The Fellowship of The Forest, The World and The Life of Small Animals (ants). The created material contains information and aids to individual programs. The programs help students to get closer to the characteristics of the given topics and to pass on unusual interesting things. It is based on a literary analysis of The Framework Educational Program, School Educational Program or other information sources. They create a number of several activities and task with additional school reports after completion of the projects. The worksheets which were used for pre-test, post-test no. 1 and post-test no. 2. The activities were partially practically verified with a selected group of 2nd year students at the Primary school in Tábor-Čekanice. Given the pandemic situation only two educational programs were into practice i.e. "Ants" and "We are Flying to Africa." These projects have had quite big influence on the children from the point of view of information cognitive knowledge. Students evaluated the programs as very entertaining according to questionnaires.
