This diploma thesis is about supplier’s evaluation for company which I chosen. The theoretical part deals with quality, instruments of quality, management of quality and is about the basic information about the suppliers. The practical part analyzes actual status of company in supplier rating. The conclusion and results of this diploma thesis are focused on proposal possible changes and are focused on relief and for improvement the supplier rating in company.

Diploma thesis is a proposal for measures to increase performance and efficiency of VMT ECOPACK s.r.o. supply chain. The aim is optimalize logistics, material flows for manufacturing proceses and propose an evaluation system for suplier ratings. The theoretical part explains foundations and contexts from logistics and supply chain. The analytical part is devoted to acquaintance with the company and evaluation of its current production systems from the supply chain and logistics point of view. The practical part responds to identified shortcomings and suggests a way of evaluating suppliers, implementing an ERP system, unifying suppliers and optimizing supplies.

The Application of Fuzzy Logic for Rating of Suppliers for the Firm

This diploma thesis deals with the use of fuzzy logic principles for evaluation and selection of an optimal supplier of transport services. Based on stated requirements, two models have been created. These models serve as a tool for decision support. The suggestion of solution itself has been created using MS Excel editor and MathWorks MATLAB programming platform. Subsequently, eveluation of particular offers has taken place using the models.

The diploma thesis deals with the application of the theory of fuzzy logic in the evaluation of client translation commissions for a foreign language text. This fuzzy model is used for better selection of orders and faster allocation of human resources for specific orders. The fuzzy model is composed of multi-valued decision-making criteria that are essential for the company. The model is processed in MS Excel using VBA and MathWorks MATLAB.
