Pile Foundations - Energy Piles
Hoza, Martin ; Leiter, Augustin (referee) ; Glisníková, Věra (advisor)
At a time when ecology and renewable energy sources come to the fore, the use of geothermal energy appears to be one of the suitable alternatives. The aim of this paper is to explain the function of ground source heat pumps, to mention factors affecting the efficiency of the system and discuss the technology of energy piles realization. This paper also focuses at risks associated with the soil temperature influencing and shows examples of realization.
Domestic heat pump
Holinka, Jakub ; Borbély, Richard (referee) ; Fiedler, Jan (advisor)
The aim of this bachelor´s thesis is compensation of primary electric boiler by heat pump for a heating (cooling) and warming-up a hot service water in a family house, which is situated in a village called Skryje 31. These informations are based on a calculation of heat losses. Further i will deal with current state of a heat pumps, grant plan and calculation of heat losses. End of the work delas with an economic return of investment of heat pump, which compairs with electric heating.
Renewable sources of energy for residential houses.
Bergr, Josef ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
Aim of the bachelor thesis „Renewable soucers of energy for residential houses“, is the choice of the best alternative heat sources for heating and for hot water from a financial point of view. Therefore, a significant part of the thesis dedicated to economic assessment. In the first part are selected each combination of systems that will be rewarded in the second part are calculated total financial costs over the life of the individual systems. It selected the cheapest system that is subjected to detailed analysis and prepare a chart of financial costs, which is more accurate and performs its design and implementation project. The theoretical part of the legislation mentions and describes the approach to the design of renewable energy and other section is a brief overview of this issue.
Simultaneous utilizing of a heat pump and solar panels in a heating syste
Gongol, Jakub ; Chroboczek, Libor (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
My bachelor thesis focuses on simultaneous utilizing of a heat pump and a solar thermal collectors. I introduce principle and types of heat pumps and thermal collectors. I also introduce different sources of low-potential heat, which can be used for a heat pump. In conclusion, heat pump and solar collectors are chosen for a type house. I calculate costs needed for heating house without and with heat pump. These costs are compared and economic return is evaluated.
Waste heat recovery from processes using heat pumps
Marada, Petr ; Zejda, Vojtěch (referee) ; Havlásek, Martin (advisor)
The aim of the bachelor thesis is to describe the possibilities of using waste heat from the processes by heat pumps. The first part defines the waste heat and deals with the possibilities and ways of its use. The next section describes the different types of heat pumps, their components and sources from which it is possible to draw the heat. The last part shows the calculation of return on investment to make heat pump for heating office buildings.
Energy evaluation of systems VRF
Gašpár, Juraj ; Hanyk, Kamil (referee) ; Rubina, Aleš (advisor)
This master thesis deals with VRF systems, which are used for extensive commercial and office buildings, or for buildings where there are multiple zones with different required parameters. The aim of the thesis is to explain the functions of the system and their evaluation and inclusion into energy classes according to the new legislation. The practical part deals with an application of the VRF system and its variants in the building of bank branch. The comparison of initials costs and resultant costs to operate the system. The experiment focuses on comparison of the measured values of VRF system and their comparison with data from the manufacturer.
Design and optimization of heat pump operation
Bergr, Josef ; Šikula, Ondřej (referee) ; Formánek, Marian (advisor)
The aim of the thesis "Design and optimization of the heat pump" is the project documentation for building permits, finding a suitable source of heat and cold. The problem is solved for a Tesco hypermarket. The device is designed to meet the health, performance and functional requirements for indoor climate. The task of this device is to transport fresh air into the interior cover heat losses in winter and coverage heat gains during the summer. The theoretical part deals with the problem of heat pumps. Special mention is about heat pump air x air. Calculation and design part is a specific proposal, two air conditioners and optimizing for winter. The experimental part deals with the processing of data on existing rooftop units.
Heat pumps – practical experience
Dvořák, Vlastimil ; Pešek, Martin (referee) ; Jaroš, Michal (advisor)
The main aim of the bachelor‘s work is to collect available data about realized projects of heat pumps and to consider their suitability, convenience and economic return of the investment. Further objective is to consider the economy viewpoint of heat pumps and suitability of their instalations.
Design of heat pump for space heating system
Panáček, Jaromír ; Elcner, Jakub (referee) ; Katolický, Jaroslav (advisor)
The bachelor's thesis contains design options of the heat pump for a family house. First part of the thesis deals with the basic types of heat pumps and their usage in the particular conditions. The description of the family house along with basic parameters for the design of the heat pump itself is presented in the second part of the thesis. Therefore the heat loss computation and the heat needs of the household are listed. Various designs of the heat pumps with basic properties according to the given house come afterwards. The conclusion summarizes the overall comparison of the individual types from the investments, operating expenses and the choice of the designed heat pump point of view. Mathematical basics are enclosed in the appendix.
Heat pump for domestic heating
Koubková, Lucie ; Šumpela, Pavel (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
This diploma thesis is about using heat pump (HP) to gain energy. The theoretical part contains introduction, historical development of HP, principle of function, description of individual components, working cycle of heat pump and sources of lowpotencial energy and accordingly possible types of heat pumps. The practical part is devoted to proposal of appropriate type of heat pump for heating and warming of tap water for family house and economical evaluation of this solution.
