	Czech atheism ŠVÁBENSKÝ, Oldřich The work deals with question of atheism in the Czech Republic. It offers basic orientation in the problem it defines key concepts and introduces different forms and links of atheism, as well as actual condition in the Czech Republic so everybody can freely decide if faith will have a space in their lives or not. It focuses especially on professional texts of eminent Czech authors dealing with atheism and it compares points in which the authors agree and contrariwise in which their opinions diverge. It emphasizes aspects which according to the selected authors affected the most the Czech atheism ? whether it is event historical, social or political. 	His Dark Materials: Atheism in Philip Pullman´s Trilogy ERTELOVÁ, Jitka The aim of this bachelor thesis is to analyse atheistic elements in Philip Pullman´ s fantasy trilogy His Dark Materials (The Golden Compass, The Subtle Knife, The Amber Spyglass). The introductory parts of the thesis briefly describe the life of the writer, his literary output, inspirational sources of the trilogy and a critical reception of His Dark Materials. The middle parts of the thesis deal with various types of atheism and describe the contents of the volumes of Pullman´ s trilogy. The last part contains the analysis of atheistic elements in the trilogy, specifically the analysis of religious topics and ideological and religious movements. 	Attitude of the Current Czech Society towards the Issue of the Decalogue BOROVKOVÁ, Blanka The thesis looks into the relationship of the current Czech society towards the issue of the Decalogue. The first two chapters deal with the theological-anthropological reflection on man in relation to human freedom and corresponding norms. The third part enquires into the problems of the Decalogue as a codex of ethical norms with regard to the biblical rootage, and ethical and catechistic features. Further, the work outlines the level of value orientation and religiousness of the current Czech society with reference to the European context.
