Grants influance on trading income of Agricultural companies

The theoretical part describes the development of grants provided by the European Community and by the Czech Republic. The objective of this work was the comparison of grants to Agricultural companies with different productive focus and the grants comparison to the School Agricultural Company of the South Bohemian University and to the Agricultural Company AGROM Zborov and their trading income influence of both companies, what I have done in the practical part of my work.

FINANCIAL SUBSIDIES IN AGRICULTURAL COMPANY

This diploma thesis deals with financial subsidies in agricultural company ``A{\crqq}, especially it is concentrated on financial subsidies of plant production and livestock production in this company in 2005-2008. The theoretical part describes problems of agriculture and reasons why the society has to support the agriculture then there are mentions of strangeness costs in agriculture and a costing model. Of course there are a list of institutions providing subsidy policy in the Czech Republic and the description of its financial supports. There is a financial analysis in the next part. Two situations are compared. Starting situation is economy of the farm without dotations and then the changes when the farm recieves the dotations. On the basis of this comparison, there are some of procurations concerning costs and returns. Another part reviews the structure of the costs.

METHODS OF FINANCIAL ANALYSIS SYSTEMS IN A CHOSEN COMPANY

The Bachelor thesis is focused on creation of a financial evaluation of an agricultural company. Agricultural industry has many specifics, which it was necessary to consider in the proposed methodology and to accommodate the evaluation of the company financial situation to them. In my Bachelor thesis I therefore used not only the common indicators but also newly created ones, specific or modified. I applied the created methodology in practice to verify the functionality. I analysed the collected data and assessed the economic situation of the company. In conclusion there were proposed specific actions for elimination or reduction of some negative effects, which were found out using the financial analysis. In this specific company the economic situation was evaluated as positive and considering the difficult conditions, which Czech agrarians must deal with, even as above standard. Unsatisfactory values of some indicators were not evaluated as serious and threatening the company. What is more, often the situations non-controllable by the company, such as for example large floods in 2002, affected impairment of the indicators.

The Economic Estimation of Animal Production at the Agricultural Company

The aim of the dissertation is the estimation of the profitability of cows breeding, keeping without market milk production at the agricultural company that farming in the marginal area. The agricultural company is farming in the southwest Bohemia, covering all agriculture land belonging to LFA area. This dissertation evaluates whole management of the cows breeding and the economic results at the years 2006 and 2007. The average status at the farm was 230 cows at 2006 and increment to 265 cows at 2007. The main factors affecting economic results of breeding cows keeping without market milk production are: fertility of cows, losses of calves, longevity of cows, optimum organization of breeding, price of the sale cattle and supports from EU and national subsidies. The results of the diploma thesis is, that the breeding cows keeping without market milk production is without supports from EU and national subsidies unprofitable, for attainment gain without supports from EU and national subsidies is important to decrease costs.

This is additionally completed by the intercompany comparison with the agricultural company PERSEUS, a. s.
