London Eye
Hušek, Martin ; Hradil, Petr (referee) ; Zídek, Rostislav (advisor)
Performance of static analysis of the London Eye structure is the subject of this diploma thesis. First chapters of the thesis analyses overview of realized structures of the Ferris wheel. The main part of the thesis analyses the London Eye structure itself. Specifically are described response analyses, sensitivity analyses, analyses of ultimate limit state and serviceability, stress analyses, analyses of fatigue stress and lifetime analyses. The thesis describes among static analysis also a design of dynamic vibration absorbers. The results of each analysis are evaluated in the final chapters.
Dynamic analysis of steel tank with liquid
Farkasová, Zuzana ; Mrózek, Michal (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
Master´s thesis deals with dynamic analysis of steel tank with liquid. There are given parametres of structure and thein introduction to ANSYS system. There are created three numerical models for comparison, which are static and modal analysis calculated for. Spectrum analysis is calculated only for numerical models with fluid elements. Shell elements are evaluated according to EC 3.
Static and dynamic assessment of an outlook tower construction
Valíček, Jan ; Kala, Jiří (referee) ; Salajka, Vlastislav (advisor)
This thesis deals with static and dynamic analysis of an lookout tower construction. For dynamic analysis a computational model in ANSYS software is created. Static analysis is performed by Scia Engineer software. Both of this software use finite element method. It is also focused on wind load determination by Eurocode 1, structural factor calculation, modal analysis and vortex shedding. Verification of selected parts according to Eurocodes is included.
Plan curved arch footbridge
Trenz, Jan ; Romportl, Tomáš (referee) ; Stráský, Jiří (advisor)
The scope of thesis is to design a curved arch footbridge. The main structure consists of composite deck supported by steel arch. The focus is on finding optimal shape of arch and proper cross-sections of elements. Bridge is analysed according to limit states.
Constructive-technological project of factory building in Rokycany
Štefaňák, Jan ; Ing.Pavel Svoboda (referee) ; Diaz, Yvetta (advisor)
Master´s Thesis describes the realization setup procedure of factory building in Rokycany. Building has precast concrete skeleton based on in-situ concrete piles. Document consists of concept of site accommodation, sizing of building machines, time schedule, technological rules and constraints for the chosen technological processes and plan of workplace safety and health.
Reinforced concrete structure
Malecha, Tomáš ; Šimůnek, Petr (referee) ; Šulák, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor‘s thesis includes structural analysis and check of reinforced concrete, cast-in-place construction of a building for parking. Here is solved locally supported floor slab above first above ground floor. Structural analysis was solved by program Scia Engineer 14 and checked by manual calculation. Next step was dimensioning for ultimate limit state, concretely for bending moment, punching and for serviceability limit state, concretely for limitation of cracks. For this bachelor’s thesis were made drawings based on calculated results.
Influence of stiffness connections on loading of steel structures
Šik, Jan ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
This bachelor thesis focuses on the analysis of the real behavior of the joints in steel structures. The introduction describes different approaches to the modeling of joints. The first approach is based on algorithms found in normative documents ČSN EN. The other approach deals with numerical modeling of the joints using the finite element method (FEM) in SW ANSYS. In conclusion, the comparison of results of different approaches to the modeling of joints.
Response analysis of high-rise storage tank to static and dynamic loads
Strnadlová, Kateřina ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Nevařil, Aleš (advisor)
This thesis describes the design and construction of water reservoir assessment for static and dynamic loads. The intoduction describes the basic design type sof reservoirs, thein static solution and design conditions. It made a preliminary calculation for determining the thickness of the shell structure and designed structure is then solid using the finite element metod (FEM) in ANSYS. In conclusion, verification of load-carrying capacity, stability and usability according to standard ČSN EN.
Static analysis of flexibly supported on structures
Šnajdárková, Jana ; Brdečko, Luděk (referee) ; Vlk, Zbyněk (advisor)
This work focuses on comparing the static analysis on the various types of models. It is calculated as manual calculations and in software RFEM. Without use of the software are created simplified beam model on fixed and flexible supports and to them are calculated support reactions, shear forces and bending moments. One part focuses on the calculation of the reduction of bending moments, to achieve more accurate results. In the program are created models of rod and models of space, which are composed of surfaces. There is also created a model of the split rod to form a reduction of the bending moments over the supports. The last model is a beam with two separate chambers, which are fixed to the plate and defined as ribs which cooperates with the plate. Internal forces on all models is then compared.
Static analysis of clarified tank structure
Kika, Aleš ; Vlk, Zbyněk (referee) ; Hradil, Petr (advisor)
The aim of bachelor thesis was to perform static analysis of the retention tank. It was created a computational model of the construction in program ANSYS, defined all load cases, and their combinations. At the end of thesis, some components of the tank were designed and evaluated for ultimate limit state and service limit state.
