Electric all-terrain vehicle ATV
Slíva, Karel ; Vopařil, Jan (referee) ; Kučera, Pavel (advisor)
This bachelor thesis relates to the problematics of electrical four wheelers ATV. The main parts of this thesis are division according to the utilization and construction, and description of available models of the electrical four wheelers. Further the thesis discusses the accumulators, which supply energy to the propulsion units, which are essential parts of all four wheelers. The last part of the thesis relates to the undercarriages, their arrangement in the electrical four wheelers and also to the simplified design of propulsion unit and it also comprise the battery life calculation.
Alternative and hybrid powertrains of cars
Trněný, Pavel ; Ramík, Pavel (referee) ; Píštěk, Václav (advisor)
This bachelor´s thesis deals with alternative fuels for gas engine, hybrid powertrains of cars and finally electric cars. It creates overview in present day used alternative technologies of car powertrains.
Wind power production for small-scale energy supply
Pavlik, Richard ; Chroboczek, Libor (referee) ; Pospíšil, Jiří (advisor)
The aim of this work is the issue of utilization of wind energy. At first, the cause of wind, measuring methods of wind direction and speed and the principle of utilization of wind energy by wind turbines are described. Subsequently, the structure of wind turbines, the construction of wind parks, the development of new types of wind turbines and the possibilities of energy accumulation are introduced. In conclusion, the concept and the economic evaluation of wind powered system for small scale energy supply is analyzed.
Accumulation of energy
Neuman, Tomáš ; Kloss, Ondřej (referee) ; Kaplan, Zdeněk (advisor)
This bachelor thesis comprises a technical retrieval of overview of energy accumulation usable in cars. The basic characteristics and problems of particular kinds of accumulators and ways of accumulation are brought in this thesis, describing characteristics of lead accumulator, the structure and composition of electromobiles and appropriate batteries. In the following part the description of heat and hydrogen accumulator is stated. The end of this bachelor thesis is dedicated to mechanical accumulator.
Solar charge controllers for off-grid systems
KRČKA, Pavel
This diploma thesis deals with photovoltaic rechargable regulators used in isolated, or off-grid photovoltaic systems. First, basic types of off-grid installations, including their functions and applications in practice are described. Then, possibilities of electric energy accumulation in photovoltaic systems are mentioned, considering actual, accesible technologies. Matters of electric energy accumulation in leaden accumulators are examined in detail. Main part of the diploma thesis is about electronic designs of photovoltaic, also called solar, rechargable regulators. These are the main connecting part between photovoltaic panels, accumulator, but also often connected charge, which is appliance. Individual electronic regulators concepts are described narrowly, then compared and evaluated in thesis´ conclusion.
