Innovation of the laboratory stand Water jet
Šimůnek, Petr ; Rudolf, Pavel (referee) ; Hudec, Martin (advisor)
The subject of this bachelor's thesis is the design of a new experimental device for measuring the force of a water jet on various shaped surfaces. The first part of the work is focused on the theory around the task. The second part deals with the parts of the device. And in the third part is carried out exemplary calculation.
Influences on flowing fluid and hydrodynamic instabilities
Kallas, Miloš ; Havlásek, Michal (referee) ; Štefan, David (advisor)
This bachelor’s thesis deals with the description of the hydrodynamic effects that arise from the flow of fluids. These are the effects that surround us and may be seen in our everyday lives. For each effect there is an outlist of real applications that operate on the principle of gi-ven effects. The thesis is ended with the Reynold‘s experiment.
The force of water jet on a flat surface
Kasal, Milan ; Soukup, Lubomír (referee) ; Fic, Miloslav (advisor)
This bachelor thesis discusses about the theory of fluid mechanics. In the first part of work are listed the basic hydrodynamic laws for ideal and real fluid. Further there was derived force acting on the surface. The second part is devoted to the practical use of force water jet to generate electricity and cutting of material. The objective of the last section, was practical verification of derived relations during laboratory measurements.
Hydraulic of pipeline network in ventilation systems
Bernard, Jiří ; Počinková, Marcela (referee) ; Rubinová, Olga (advisor)
This diploma thesis describes hydraulic properties of specific types of fittings designed to HVAC systems with primary focus on pressure losses of these fittings. We are focusing on comparison of specific fittings with usual systems of spiro pipes in the project part of this thesis.
Flow measurement of air by multiport averaging probes
Šimák, Jakub ; Uher, Miroslav (referee) ; Šedivá, Soňa (advisor)
Master work deals with the measurement of fluid flow (particularly air) pipe, with orifice and multiport averaging probe. The theoretical part is followed by practical, which verifies the properties of the measured system. In a next part of semestral work are verifies the properties of multiport averaging probes Vavra s.r.o. MQS-011 and Rosemount Annubar 485. Measured values from probes are compared.
Function of surge chamber
Březina, Michal ; Jandourek, Pavel (referee) ; Klas, Roman (advisor)
The thesis is focused on creation of the mathematical model for calculating the change of fluid volume and flow in surge tank and air chamber during the water hammer effect. The work also includes the derivation of the basic equations of hydrodynamics and the theory dealing with water hammer including the possibilities in protection of the pipeline system during this phenomenon.
High pressure hydraulics in agricultural machinery
Pavlík, Václav ; Kárník, Jan (referee) ; Soukup, Lubomír (advisor)
This bachelor thesis provides an overview of the most used ways of converting kinetic energy into pressure energy and the other way around by using hydrostatic converters. It is focused on the issue of high-pressure hydraulic mechanisms in agricultural machinery. In the next section I focused on getting an overview of the function of sophisticated hydraulic systems in current tractors and calculation of heat losses of lifting weight by front three-point hitch. For solving was used Bernoulli equation for real flow in pipes.
Water hammer theory
Šíblová, Kamila ; Habán, Vladimír (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
The thesis is a well-arranged text, which deals with the theory, solution and use of water hammer. For solution is used the method of charakteristic, the Lax-Wendroff method and the methods of FTCS. The thesis is a synthesis of all available information about the watter hammer and its use in practice.
Pressure drop determination of the charging pump in the water level oscillation dependence
Sůkal, Jaroslav ; Hudec, Martin (referee) ; Fialová, Simona (advisor)
The bachelor thesis deals with basic equations of hydromechanics. The derivation process of Euler equation for hydrodynamics and Bernoulli equation is outlined. It also includes the analysis of the real liquids flow as well as the friction losses. The oscilatory motion in between two joint tanks is described. The phenomenon is solved by Bernoulli equation with an unsteady term. A part of the thesis treats the derivation process of the equation of the equilibrum surface deflection description and its simplified resolving. A model problem of the phenomenon is put forward.
Aerodynamic measurement
HEJNA, Tomáš
This MA thesis focuses on the aerodynamic measurement in the teaching of physics using the Leybold Didactic didactic set. The thesis consists of instructions for solving 4 basic problems using the Leybold set; every problem comprises theoretical instructions for students and an experimental verification of the problem. The thesis should contribute to wider use of experimental teaching of physics in schools; also, it is supposed to serve teachers and students as a source of interesting laboratory assignments verifying aerodynamic laws and quantities. After minor adjustments, the thesis can be used in all types of schools, from elementary physics at primary schools to advanced physics at technical universities.
