Pravidelnou součástí výběrového šetření Životní podmínky, české varianty šetření EU-SILC, je tzv. modul (blok otázek) týkající se aktuálních problémů ve společnosti, které souvisí s životními podmínkami. Při zjišťování v roce 2010 byl zaměřen na rozhodování v souvislosti s příjmy, výdaji a obecně nahlížením na finance v domácnosti. Tematická analýza si zaslouží pozornost zejména z pohledu problematiky genderových studií a s nimi souvisejících otázek rozdělení rolí muže a ženy v domácnosti.

Execution of budget in local government units in specific municipalities Mezihoří and Křenice during years 2011-2012

This bachelor thesis is examining the functionality of the local government in the Czech Republic. The main aim of the thesis are basic local government units called municipalities, the municipal budget and all issues related to it. Also it focuses on the recent accounting reform, its basic goals and the consequences resulting from it. Theoretical knowledge gained in the first part of the thesis is applied into the practice in the second part of thesis, which focuses on the execution of the budget in two municipalities Mezihoří and Křenice. It describes annual changes in each village, and then compares the budget execution, financing or indebtedness of both villages. Comparison of the state budget of Czech republic and Slovak republic in the years 2002-2013

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to compare the fulfillment of the state budget of the Czech republic and Slovak republic in the period of years 2002-2013. The work consists of a theoretical part, which focuses on definitions of basic concepts relating to the state budget, budget process and politics, features of state budget, budget structure and to compare the preparatory and legislative process of the state budget in the Czech Republic and Slovak republic. The practical part consists of analysis of the implementation of the budgets of income and expenditure of the selected chapters of the state budget in 2002-2013 and a comparison of individual budgets in the Czech Republic and Slovak republic.
Consumer Behaviour of Households

The thesis is focused on the consumer behavior of the households in the period from 2003 to 2013. The theoretical part is divided into two parts, household consumption from the perspective of marketing, and from the perspective of economics. In the marketing section explains the concepts of consumer, household, consumer credit, consumer behavior, consumer predisposition and the buying decision process. In the section dedicated to economics concepts are explained, the budget line consumption, preferences, and surplus consumer's optimum. In the methodological part of the work describes the secondary sources from which I draw the data in the practical part. Listed here are provided for the investigated questions. The practical part includes information about the average income per person per year, the average expenditure per person per year, and also about the structure of consumption. I'm watching whether consumer behavior affect different criteria, for example, the age of the person at the head of the household, the size of the municipality in which the person lives in the household, the head of the household or education of the person at the head of the household. In conclusion is a summary of the collected data.
Economic development of sports clubs in the years 2006 - 2014 in the United Kingdom in context with the economic cycle

The main aim of this thesis is to verify whether the economic cycles have an impact on the economic situation of professional football clubs in the United Kingdom. The reference period are the years 2006 to 2014, which include the recent economic crisis. In the theoretical part, sports club are defined as a firm in accordance with behavioral theory which was selected as the most suitable. Analyzed are the specifics of functioning of sports clubs, such as the method of determining the club's goals. These are among sports clubs, unlike conventional businesses, based on the principle of utility maximization. Furthermore, sporting markets are described, and considered a sports cartel. Described are also different ways of financing of sports clubs, and as the most important nowadays are chosen: gate receipts, broadcasting revenues and sponsorship. As the part of the thesis, the substantial positive effects of analyzed Premier League on the British society is described. These include big tax revenues for the government of United Kingdom. In the 2013, those tax revenues reached 1.3 billion pounds. The practical part of the thesis characterizes Premier League, and subsequently also the selected football clubs, and especially their economic development in the reference period. The data obtained are then coupled with the economic development of United Kingdom. Data reveal that neither club revenues, nor expenses were affected by the economic crisis. Similarly, there was not registered any effect of the crisis on the wages of the clubs employees, nor on the number of staff employed by the clubs.
