This paper discusses the sources of water in the landscape, divides water features according to various methodologies and describes their nature and functions. It also deals primarily with the development of water loss from the landscape in our country and shows the history and problems of regulating rivers. It points out the consequences of these activities, discusses the historical and current measures - restoration and renaturation of watercourses and the return water back into the landscape. It also discusses the historical development of the country with regard to the aquatic. The case study deals with a model water feature - Bečva river from the source to the mouth. It describes interesting gravel flow. It analyzes the problematic sections of the river and above all the consequences that left a flood in 1997, when there was a change in the morphology of the river bed. At these new locations carried successional development of plant communities and soil creates a new profile. The author's thesis deals with these sites, especially ripping shores and gravel benches on Bečva in Osek. The paper describes the concept of river flood protection of the Bečva river, technical proposals and revitalization . The author evaluates these studies. It also shows the differences regulated and refolded channel.

This diploma thesis deals with using of interregional and international aid forces and means of rescue services during floods. The first chapter describes Civil Protection legislative conditions, coordination, capacity, monitoring tools and information support in the Czech republic, EU and UN. The second capter contains cases study "Floods in BiH, Serbia and Croatia 2014", "Floods in Czech republic 2002". The case studies are focused on EU Civil Protection Mechanism response. Other part describes and compares three High capacity pumping teams. Aim of the last part is design optimization of emplacement of the modules in EU.

Studie protipovodňových opatření v Bílovicích nad Svitavou

The bachelor's thesis is focused on design of new anti-flood measures in the village Bílovice nad Svitavou. There is a teoretic part generally describing the flood issue. There is also a part about natural characteristics and about the actual state of the water network in the village. The thesis also describes the implemented flood control on the river Svitava and their tributaries. Based on this information, new and additional anti-flood measures are proposed both in the urban area and on the tributaries of the river Svitava.

Studie návrhu záplavového území na vybraném vodním toku Hodonínska

The diploma thesis deals with the proposal of flooded area on selected section 23,324-28,521 km of the Kyjovka river. Part of the thesis is about general issue of floods and flooded areas. In the practical part, the flooded area of the selected section of the Kyjovka river, with the help of AutoCAD and HEC-RAS programs, is designed. As a source for the proposal of flooded area served the data from The Morava River basin. The thesis is complemented by graphic attachment, photo documentation and drawings.

Studie návrhu úpravy dolního úseku toku Kyjovky

The study is interested in evaluation of bottom part of river Kyjovka and a new proposal into the selected part. The river Kyjovka was originally natural meadering flow, what has passed by the huge complex of water modification in the 20th century, that has changed water mode and straighten flow without any meanders. The thesis has a few parts. The firts one is about basic characteristic of territory and an influence of water modification into selected territory. Next one is based on own research and proposing of the new modification of flow from rkm 14,118 -- rkm 14,527. Final results were processed to the tables,maps and picture. Drawing picture were made by special computer programes: Atlas DMT 6, ArcMap 10.1 and Autocad 2012.

This work concerns the global development of insurance from the past to today. A large part of the work focuses on property insurance in the Czech Republic during the floods of 2002 and compares the products of the three best-known insurers in the Czech market. Analaysis outlines the advantages and disadvantages of the products for clients and the differences between individual insurance companies. For clients, property insurance is, and always will be, an important element in the fight against difficult circumstances.
