The concept of human being in Polish and Czech phraseology - selected areas

The aim of the present essay, "The Concept of Human Being in Polish and Czech Phraseology: Selected Areas," is to show the rich thesaurus of expressions that carry contents linked to human treats of character, emotions, and psychological states. In Chapter I, "The Subject of Phraseology," I provide an outline of the significance of phraseology, of its history and of the present state of research in Poland. The most important linguists that focus on this branch of linguistics are cited here, such as S. Skorupka, A. M. Lewicki, A. Pajdzinska, S. Baba, B. Rejakowa, M. Basaj, and D. Rytel. I explain the meaning of the stylistic process called "de-phraseologizing".
