The diploma thesis deals with the evaluation of the rural tourism development through LEADER methods, especially by the local action groups. The rate of support was analyzed in the territory of 18 selected local action groups according to their tourist attendance. The theoretical part includes literary research, which explains the relevant concepts of rural development and development of the area through tourism, namely rural tourism, the possibilities of supporting the development of rural and rural tourism through subsidy programs, especially the Rural Development Program, Functioning of LEADER methods and local action groups, which are the crucial topic of the presented work. The following chapter introduces selected local action groups based on their tourist attractiveness and the inclusion of tourism support in the strategic plan of the each LAG. The major eighth chapter discusses in the detail projects supported by the LAG, which are further classified according to their nature and sorted according to whether they have the ideologies of rural tourism or not. The aim of the thesis is to find out which categories of LAG, according to the tourist ballast, most strongly implement projects supporting the development of rural tourism in the region. The final chapter deals with the evaluation of the support of implemented projects supporting the rural tourism in the current programming period 2014-2020.

Královehradecký a Pardubický kraj z pohledu podpory turismu v rámci PRV

This bachelor thesis focuses on the evaluation of support of rural tourism from the Rural Development Programme in the Hradec Králové region and Pardubice region. The theoretical part of the thesis includes literary research and explains basic terminology on the fields of tourism industry and rural tourism industry. The next chapter gives an insight into the specifics of the analysed areas from the viewpoint of its potential for the development of the tourism industry, determined by the area´s local and implementational preconditions. The work includes an overview of the financial support for this type of tourism from European funds. The applied part of the bachelor thesis consists of the main analysis of all EU-supported projects from the priority axis III., field of support 1.3 Encouragement of tourism activities. The individual projects are sorted by the type of beneficiary, the project´s focus and therefore it was necessary to define the standards for the determination of relevant projects, which follow the ideas of the rural tourism. Total amount of registered applications for grants in the period 2007 up 2013 was 59, but only 39 projects were relevant and approved. The established criteria of rural tourism have been fulfilled by only 25 projects. 19 projects fulfilled these criteria only partially.

Regionální diferenciace podpory cestovního ruchu na venkově prostřednictvím PRV: srovnání Plzeňského, Karlovarského, Ústeckého a Libereckého kraje

The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the support of rural tourism from the Rural Development Programme 2007-2013 in four chosen regions - Plzeň Region, Karlovy Vary, Ústí nad Labem and Liberec Region. The theoretical part of the thesis includes the literature research concerning the issue of rural tourism, rural areas and discusses the importance of this specific form of tourism for rural development and its application, especially with regard to the analyzed territory and its natural and cultural-historical potential for the development of various forms of tourism. The next part of the thesis deals with the financial support of tourism through the European funds, with an emphasis on the Rural Development Program and its conditions, followed by the detailed analysis of the projects supported by Rural Development Programme 2007-2013, measure III. 1.3. The main objective of this part is to evaluate the projects in relation to rural tourism and to find answers to the questions whether the support was concentrated in tourist attractive areas or how the projects utilize the natural-cultural attractions of the given area. It also includes a more detailed assessment of the support of agritourism, eco-agritourism and hipotourism as specific forms of rural tourism.

Rozvoj a nové trendy agroturistiky v mikroregionu Židlochovicko a na Břeclavsku

The bachelor thesis The development and new trends in agroturism in the microregion of Židlochovicko and in Břeclavsko is divided into several parts. The first, theoretical, part deals with the issues of agroturist development in the regions of Židlochovicko and in Břeclavsko. It maps the natural and tourist attractions, wine destinations, wine trails, cycletracks which are significant for each region, as well as the local events within country tourism. The second, practical, part of the work presents SWOT analysis of these two regions and statistical research evaluating the agrotourist development of these regions. The survey employed a guestionnarie aimed at both the visitors to these regions and local inhabitants. The aim of the survey was to determine the level of the agrotourist development in the given areas, comparision of these two localities in terms of agrotourism and also assessment of the results and possible causes of the phenomena which are dealt with in the survey.

In the practical part are described localization, realization and selective factors of micro-reion. Based on the questionnaire survey, answers are evaluated and proposals for improving quality are created for the factors that have been evaluated worst.

Zhodnotenie kvality cestovného ruchu v regióne Liptov

The bachelor thesis deals with the evaluation of the current state of quality of tourism in the region of Liptov. The theoretical part deals with the issues of tou-rism, rural tourism, factors influencing tourism. In the next part, the problems of the destination such as its quality and its assessment and the possibilities of its evaluation are mentioned. The practical part describes the selective, localization and realization factors of the Liptov region. The marketing survey was conducted between visitors to the region as well as local residents. On the basis of the survey done to explore regional quality factors, we have found which factors are well-satisfied and witch areas need a change. For the factors with low satisfacion and rating, suggestions for improvement in the area were created.

Agroturistické využití jezdeckého areálu "Ranč Loučka"

This bachelor thesis deals with the agrotouristic use of the equestrian complex. The be-ginning of the work is characterized by rural tourism, the history and importance of ag-ro-tourism and organizations supporting rural tourism. In the next chapter I will focus on the characteristics of Předklášteří area where the ranch is located. I also mention the work, the origin, the development, the current situation of the ranch, what it deals with and what services it offers to the visitors. One chapter also informs about breeding hor-ses, what their use is and what horse is suitable for agro-tourism. The aim of this work was the technical and economical evaluation of traffic using SWOT analysis with a view to the function in rural tourism. Finally, I present the evaluation of the operation and other possibilities of development Loučka Ranch.

The Links between Various Providers of Tourism in the Western Šumava

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the links between various providers of tourism in the locality of Western Šumava. The research is focused on municipalities and selected entities operating in the Šumava National Park, the aim of this work being to evaluate the level of destination management based on cooperation between municipalities or between municipalities and individual actors in tourism. Destination management in the defined area is characterized in more detail by analyzing the activities of individual actors in tourism. This thesis evaluates the influence of provider activity, administrative boundaries, geographical distance and organizational structure on the origins and function of destination management. Levels of cooperation are analyzed by using a questionnaire survey. The result of the work is an evaluation of the importance of various providers based on their degree of inter-cooperation and a proposal for future streamlining the process of destination management for current and emerging destination companies in the western part of the Šumava. Business Plan in Agritourism

Agritourism represents a suitable form of diversification for the farmers in rural areas. The aim of this thesis is to create a business plan for farm providing services related to agritourism in Hluboká nad Vltavou. Therefore, the thesis analyses the external environment of the planned company on the PEST framework and discerns possible threats and opportunities of the project on the SWOT analysis framework. The offer of services and products of the planned farm is based on the results of the quantitative market survey conducted in Hluboká nad Vltavou in 2018 reflected in four suggested target groups of customers and the study of the offers of rival companies in region. The rentability of the project is financially evaluated by the net present value method.

The perception of agrotourism in the selected regions of Czechia and Slovakia

The perception of agrotourism in selected region of Czechia and Slovakia Abstract This diploma thesis deals with agrotourism and its perception in the Ústecký and Košický regions. The aim of the study is to identify key perceptual indicators that influence the operation of agro-touristic activities in selected regions. For this reason, the diploma thesis focuses on the perception of tourists and owners of economic facilities that operate the given form of rural tourism. The diploma thesis consists of two main parts. At the beginning of the study there is a general entry into the subject, which purposefully serves to understand the basic terms and concepts of the selected topic. The second part is focused on the field survey aimed at questioning tourists in agro-tourism facilities through questionnaire surveys and on structured interviews with property owners. The research itself took place in the months of July and August of 2017 in selected economic facilities in the Ústecký and Košický Regions. The conclusion highlights major benefits, points to further possible work and identifies key perceptual factors and conflicts that have been shown to influence both the provision and use of agrotourism in both regions under consideration.
