Problems of origin and development of dependence on alcohol at women suffering from domestic violence: Protective and risk factors Abstract The bachelor thesis engages with theme of harmful use and alcohol dependence of women - victims of domestic violence. Background for this work was International violence against women survey in Czech Republic from 2003, which presents that 58,9 % respondents met with domestic violence in their lives. 26 % of them, who experienced violence by their partner, had recourse to use of alcohol or medicaments (Pikálková, 2004), which is not negligible number. Theoretical part of this thesis is devoted to themes of domestic violence and origin and development of dependence at first and then it describes existing researches which connect both themes. Goals of the thesis were to describe connection between domestic violence and harmful use or dependence on alcohol on the base of the experience of women exposed to domestic violence and also to describe risk and protective factors of harmful use or dependence on alcohol at those women. I reached the goals of the thesis by methods of qualitative reserch by means of semi-structured interview with six victims of domestic violence. Basic group were women - victims of domestic violence. Protective factors of primary school pupils and their meanings.

The aim of this thesis is mapping the protective factor problems of pupils of the 6th to 9th grades and their meaning. It follows mostly social support, resiliency and self-efficacy as an important protective factors. It also defines protective and risk factors. The thesis focuses on the influence of different protective factors on the life style and well-being of the secondary degree of a primary school in the context of child development, with the emphasis on perception of social support from parents, teachers and classmates, using the standardized research CASSS-CZ.

Burnout Syndrome of Leisure Time Activities Specialist.

This thesis is dealing with burnout syndrome among leisure time specialists. Theoretical part describes burnout syndrome, its historical basis, symptoms and causes, protective factors and preventive techniques, which prevent from burnout syndrome risk. Next part deals with common stress, its causes and symptoms, and psychosocial stress, which is closely related with burnout syndrome. Ending of the theoretical part is focused on understanding the differences between jobs of common teacher and leisure time specialist, their competences, demands and factors causing burnout syndrome. The goal of the practical part is to find out, whether leisure time specialists are equally threatened by burnout syndrome as common teachers, and whether their burnout relates with their experience, sex or type a personal behavior.

Possibilities and Limits of Substitute Family Care

The paper deals with the importance of substitute family care in the Czech Republic. Theoretical part characterizes possibilities of substitute family care, importance of family and its ambiance. Next, it describes risk and protective factors and substitute family, focuses on institutional treatment of children and possible problems of child{\crq}s socialization. Practical part contains casuistics and comparison of two chosen cases: case of successful and unsuccessful substitute family care. Both cases have good intention. They offer further view into problems of substitute family care. Its quality is not related only to those who decided to take abandoned child into their family but lies also in the child itself and not forgetting in abilities of workers securing substitute family care.
