The topic of the bachelor thesis is "Strategy formulation for a national branch of select-ed multinational IS/ICT company". Its goal is an evaluation of the business environment of the chosen branch of the multinational enterprise AB&C, examination of the subsidiary's situation and formulation of a proper strategy for the branch based on its capabilities. The foundations for this analysis were PEST analysis, Porter five forces and value-chain analysis and SWOT analysis. The result of this thesis is the strategy a branch can implement to improve its current business situation and strengthen its competitive ad-vantage.

Conditions of establishing of companies in Russia and the Czech Republic

The purpose of this bachelor work is to outline basic necessities of establishing the most frequent forms of enterprenuering. Conditions for establishing Limited Liability Company and joint-stock company in the Czech Republic and in Russia will be discussed first. This work will then shortly focus on terms for dealershipes and branches. The next part anylyses the prosperity of individual sectors and regions. It presents basic summary of taxes in Russia and it penetrates into numbers of individual incomes. The last section of this work is concentrated on more practical part and the purpose is to indicate specificities of business negotiation with russian partners.

The target of this diploma work is to show the establishment of a bank branch from the stage of planning to the day when it is open for clients. To do so I have used both fictitious data (in view of the ČSOB strategy) and methods and procedures used in practice.

Controlling - the possibilities of its use in a bank and an outline of its implementation within the bank's branches in ceskobudejovicky region

This diploma work is focused on the Controlling in the bank sector. The first teoretical part describes Controlling in a common form and displaces frequent and wrong replacements of Controlling with a control and describing function of Controlling in a company and describing also its benefits. The other part deals with bank sector and is focused on evidence of costs and revenues in a bank business. It describes differences between findings profit on the basis of financial accounting and findings profit on the basis of managerial accounting, where deals with the fundamental method of Controlling {--} financial contribution. Practical part is focused on the comparison of profitability of the branches stores in the českobudějovický region. Comparison is executed just on the basis of financial contribution. Česká spořitelna divides these contributions into 1-7a. Individual branches are compared in the tables always according to the concrete contribution. For comparing e.g consulting centre and service centre is important to divide every contribution with FTE (full time equivalent).

Brand building BTL zdravotnická technika a.s.

The first chapter of the thesis describes the world and Czech medical devices markets and its present trends. The second chapter is aimed to describe the company BTL zdravotnická technika a.s., its history, range of products and market position. The next chapter describes marketing strategy, including the SWOT analysis and BCG matrix of the range of products. In the fourth chapter I analyze 3 most problematic markets in the Western Europe and competitive companies in those markets. The fifth chapter includes detailed SWOT analysis of distributors and subsidiaries. These analysises are essential for the final chapter where I recommend whether the company should continue with the sales via distributors of whether it should make its own subsidiaries.
