I'm working with photographs of Sigmund Freud's apartment and creating their pseudo reconstruction. I'm trying through technique of linocut uncover light from black and white photos taken by documentarist Edmund Engelman in Vienna in 1938. I'm revealing volumes of individual fragments, which light falls on. Exposed light I keep for myself, for some melancholy reasons, and store it in glass jars. It is negative and final linocut represents positive. Atmosphere of pictures from Edmund Engelman's book has a big influence on me as well as Robert Longo's cycle Freud Drawings. Their atmosphere is catalyst for my own art solution.

?THROUGH THE BOHEMIAN FOREST?

The thesis deals with changes of the Bohemian Forest (called Šumava in Czech) in Czech Artists? works and presentation of personal and creative attitudes for realization of authors´ artwork. It is divided into two parts. The theoretical part deals with the history and geographical distribution of the Bohemian Forest and analyzes artworks of chosen South-Bohemian artists who were influenced by Bohemian Forest and who produced their artworks in the time from the 19th century to eighties of the 20th century. The practical part contains graphic sheets prepared by conventional techniques linocuts and dry point.?

In the footsteps of history - Castelology

The bachelor thesis takes for the aim to present feudal residences of the Middle Age in artistic expression of the romanticism. In the first part deals with presenting object of castles and in the second part is occupied by artistic elaboration of the subject of castle in the period of Romanticism. In the last part deals with history of those objects which were illustrated in the practical part of thesis. The practical part of the bachelor thesis is created by file of nine graphic lists size A3 and A4, which are created by technology of gravure, exactly by the technology of linocut. The practical part also contains tract about the given theme in pedagogical practise. The end of the bachelor thesis creates annexes of the practical part, illustration of patterns and the created linocuts.

Linoryt collection on the topic: Animals in Action

This thesis is practically and theoreticaly composed. The theoretical part of this thesis deals with visual processing of the theme ?The Animal? in the past, including both graphics and drawing too. The thesis also discusses capture of animal movements in the artistic way. Mentioned are authors with art works in the field connected with the thesis theme, and their influence on my work. Besides other topics the discussion on usage of the technique within the educational practice is included. Practical part of thesis includes the set of fourteen prints in formats A3 and A4. The prints are processed in both black and white and color by use of the reliéf printing, specifically linocut, combined with watercolor coloring.
