Suggestions for project teaching on the 2nd grade of elementary school using the example of inanimate nature of Novohradské mountains.

This thesis deals with teaching about inanimate nature of the local region. The main theme of the thesis is to create own suggestions for project teaching on the 2nd grade of elementary school using the example of inanimate nature of Novohradské mountains. The project includes various activities focused on teaching about inanimate nature. The theoretical part deals with basic principles of interdisciplinary relations, project-based teaching and field exercise. It also includes an assessment of the significance of the interdisciplinary relitonships of the topic inanimate nature within the FEP. One of these chapters is devoted to the physical-geographic characteristics of the Novohradské mountains. The practical part is the final suggestion of the project.

Geomorphologic assessment in the northwestern part of Pohorská hornatina (in the Novohradské Mountains) using the concept of geomorphosites.

The aim of this bachelor thesis is evaluation of geomorphological sites in the northwest part of Pohořská Upland (the Novohradské Mountains) by means of geomorphosites conception and mutual comparison of the evaluated sites. The thesis also contains physical geographical description of the interest territory of Pohořská Upland in the Novohradské Mountains and its principal part represents the application of evaluating methodology for the particular territory of the northwest part of Pohořská Upland (Kuřský Hill, Zaječí Hill and Cikánský Hill). Information on the inanimate nature is included in the thesis as well and it is mostly in the province of geomorphosites conception. This conception represents an important tool to protect the inanimate parts of nature that is less taken into account than protecting the animate nature and whose part is development of geo-pedagogy and geoturism too.

The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of geomorphological sites in the southern part of the Pohorská hornatina Mts. (Novohradské hory Mts.) using the geomorphosites concept and mutually comparsion of locatily assessment. These locations here are represented Kamenec peak , Myslivna peak and Mrzenáč peak. Part of this work is basic information processing about the protection of non-living nature, especially within the geomorphosites concept. This concept is a significant means to protect non-living parts of nature whose protection is still played down compared to nature protection of living parts. Another aim is to develop geopedagogy and geotourism as well. Part of this work is the physically-geographical characteristics of the southern area of the Pohořská hornatina Mts. in Novohradské hory Mts., including sites of interest , to which it is applied evaluation methodology geomorphosites .

Agritourism in Novohradské hory mountains and its foothills

The aim of the thesis is to analyze the current state of the agritourism in the region of Novohradské mountains and their foothills. Further assessment of the structure of the assumptions for the development of agritourism, the identification of needs and the barriers to business development in selected rural areas. The main attention was paid to the creation of the design section, on the basis of field investigation. Off the investigation took place in the form of questionnaires aimed at entrepreneurs in tourism ventures in the chosen area. The results are specific proposals to improve the prerequisites for agro-tourism and agrotourism farm's own proposal.

The aim of this thesis is the evaluation of geomorphological sites in the northeastern part of the Pohořská hornatina Mts. (Novohradské hory Mts.) using the geomorphosites concept and mutually comparison of locality assessment. Part of this work is basic information processing about the protection of non-living nature, especially within the geomorphosites concept. This concept is a significant means to protect non-living parts of nature whose protection is still played down compared to nature protection of living parts and another aim is to develop geopedagogy and geotourism as well. Part of this work is the physically-geographical characteristics of the northern area of the Pohořská hornatina Mts in the Novohradské hory Mts. and an integral part of the work is the application of the metodology evaluation to a specific territory of the Dobrovodská group (peaks of Kraví Mt, Kuní Mt, Vysoká Mt).

Creation a draft plan of care for the site Kamenec in the Novohradské mountains

This bacherlor thesis deals with the processing plan of care for the area Kamenec in the Novohradské mountains, which we found about 3 kilometers from the village Pohoří na Šumavě and approximately 400 meters from the Austrian border. In this area we can find elements of both alive and ananimate elements of nature that formed frost weathering. This phenomenon is unique to this location more than typical. The work is divided into two parts. The first of these units is dedicated to the physical-geographical characteristics of the area (geology, geomofphology, climate, hydrology, soil science, biogeography and nature protection). The second part focuses on the declaration of Natural monument Kamenec. An integral part of this thesis are also map outputs, photographic and other attachments.

Creation a draft plan of care for the site Kuřský hill in the Novohradské mountains

The goal of this thesis is to create a draft plan of care for the site Kuřský hill in the Novohradské mountains. The area of Novohradské mountains has beautiful and well preserved natural value. Since 2000, this area is a part of national park. Kuřský hill is located south of the Benešov nad Černou, near the village Kuří. The first part is devoted to physical and geographical characteristics of the territory Novohradské mountains focusing on Kuřský hill. The following topics are described: geology, geomorphology, climate, hydrology, pedology, biogeography and nature preservation. The second part contains a draft plan for the locality Kuřský hill in Novohradské mountains according to applicable laws and regulations that regulate the plan of care. The subjects that the protection and preservation applies to are cryogenic mesoforms resulting from frost activities, which are located on the top part of the Kuřský hill. This thesis includes tables, maps created in ArcGIS 10.2.1. and photographs, which were acquired by the author during the field survey of locality.

Zpracování plánu pěče pro lokalitu Mrzenáč v Novohradských horách

Main aim of this work is to create plan of care for Mrzenáč locality in Novohradské Hory Mts according to the methodology approved on the 29th September 2004 under No.M/100856/04. First part provides introduction into basic facts and history of Mrzenáč locality. Main body of this work is divided into two major parts. First part includes complete geophysical characteristic of chosen locality based on available materials. This section consist of chapters which describes geology, climatology, geomorphology, hydrology, pedology and biogeography. Human influence, such as logging, hunting and touristic activities are described in this part. Also contains influence of natural disasters of recent years such as 2002 floods and Kyrill storm in 2007. Second section is mostly aimed at plan of care itself. After studying materials and field survey it was decided to create plan of care. Plan was created under the bill No. 60/2008 which covers labeling, evidence and declaration of protected areas and national parks. Data obtained during interview with workers of Nové Hrady forest administration office were largely used when composing plan of care. Photographic documentation was created by author himself during field survey and is included in this work. All the map attachments in this work were created using geographical software GIS. Maps were mainly created using ZABAGED data provided by ČÚZK.

Site of European importance Žofínský forest - Pivonické rocks, opportunities and access to education

The main aim of the diploma thesis is to provide the possibilities how to get the information easily about the European significant locality Žofínký prales ? Pivonické skály. Another aim is the participation of this locality into the education system. The theoretical part of the diploma thesis is focused on the European legislation which is connected with the nature preservation. It describes the selected part of the Novohradské hory and its specifics and the subject of protection. The practical part of this work analyzes the essential visitor´s knowledge of the terms of the European legislation. It offers the short stay in ?ESL with the specific theme? and tries to explain the matters of the nature preservation in an understandable way. It is determined to the specific groups of tourists, students and the others.

Creation of the plan of care for locality Cikánský hill in Novohradske mountains

The aim of this thesis is to create a care plan for the natural monument Cikánský hill in Novohradské mountains according to the applicable methodology under ref M/100856/04, as amended. The introduction is dedicated to the description of literature and methodology. Second part is focused on the physiographic characteristics of Cikánský hill in terms of Novohradské mountains. In this part of thesis, the list and location of cryogenic mesoform which should be protected by the following means are shown. The last part is focused on the possibility of implementing the care plan itself. This work is complemented with maps attachments that are created with the help of GIS system. The thesis contains also photographic exhibits taken directly in the place.
