ŠÍBA, Martin
This bachelor thesis deals with the analysis of Atom magazine, which was published in the second half of the 20th century as a reporter of Uranium mines Příbram. An inherent part of the work is also an evaluation of the current state of research. Furthermore, the readers are introduced to the history of the city of Příbram and to the history of mining, especially the mining of uranium. The main point of this work is a critical analysis of the Atom magazine, which has been for a long time Uran's Mines reporter. Finally, with the help of testimonial testimonies by using Oral history metod, I will try to reconstruct the normal operation of uranium mines. Concurrently and adequately, I compare the selected journal articles with testimony and critically evaluate them.
Nutrition of oncology patients in palliative care
TICHÁ, Miroslava
Nutrition of oncological patients in palliative care is a serious global problem, and therefore, I decided to make a reseach and learn more about this problematics. Although treatment of cancer in this time has moved forward, cancer spread throughout the world in relatively high values. This work is divided into two parts, while in the theoretical part is described the way the disease spreads, what is the percent incdence, prevalence and mortality in the Czech Republic. Next, what symptoms are associated with this disease malnutrition, cachexia, nausea, and other. The most important part of this thesis is description of the nutritional recommendation, witch is specified for each patient individually associated in regards with enteral and parenteral nutrition, as proper nutrition can affect not only the physical needs, but also psychological and also improve the overall condition of the patient. The described care and its division is the last point in the theoretical part. The current way of eating of oncological patients in palliative care was the aim of the practical part of the thesis. My research questions are: 1. How does the disease affect the appetite of the patient in palliative care? and 2. Which component of the patients diet is deficient? The topic was processed in a way of qualitative reseach of 6 oncology patients at palliative department, I used interviews and questionnaires with patients and medical staff. I reviewed the menus in the program Nutriservis and the general condition of patients using a scale of most common symptoms. According to the results, the majority of patients ranged under the limits of standards, with protein energy malnutrition, which was caused by a lack of food rich in protein and also opioids medication which can affect appetite or symptoms associated with this disease.

The Emotional inteligence of pre-school children
ŠEBESTOVÁ, Hana
The thesis deals with the emotional intelligence and the emotional development of preeschool children. The theoretical part is focused on the definition of the terms children's emotional intelligence, emotions, emotional difficulties and also on possibilities of the emotional intelligence development. The aim of the practical part is to encourage the emotional intelligence development and to catch the process of realization in a group of children. This is complemented by a case history. The study is carried out with qualitative method by way of dialogue and involved observation. The conclusion of the thesis describes the project's realization progress and it finds out the utility of applied techniques from the point of view of the emotional intelligence development support.
Bulk-driven current mirrors
Kováčik, Martin ; Prokop, Roman (referee) ; Khateb, Fabian (advisor)
My bachelor’s thesis is about bulk-driven CMOS principle for several analog circuit projects. A substrate gate is used for signal input to achieve low supply voltage and low wattage while keeping parameters adequate to current structures. The goal of my work was to design current mirror with low supply voltage and low wattage with usage of this principle. In my work there are basic data about bulk-driven technology and MOFSET transistors used in this technology. My project contains different kinds of schemes of bulk-driven current mirrors which are compared with conventional gate-driven current mirror. These circuits are simulated in Orcard Pspise program.
Analysis of the impacts of the new rules for leases under IFRS / US GAAP
Sedláček, Petr ; Vašek, Libor (advisor) ; Zelenková, Marie (referee)
This diploma thesis is focused on new standard IFRS 16 Leases and on new US GAAP codification ASC 842 Leases. It compares basic principles from old and new regulation. In the second part it analyzes impacts of transition to new accounting rules through comparing real accounting statements of three companies, issued in compliance with IAS 17 or ASC 840, with statements adjusted for impacts of new accounting standards.
Methods of the emergency bleeding control and their use in rescue services
MADĚRÁNKOVÁ, Adéla
The theoretical part of this thesis refers to bleeding and the methods that are used to stop it. Descriptions of bleeding, physiological hemostasis, organism changes during hemorrhagic shock, methods of hemostasis, other treatment after temporary hemostasis and complications have all been included. This thesis contains well-known hemostasis methods such as the pressure bandage, but also new tools, for example the hemostatic gauze celox or newly developed tools like the Wound Stasis System. I set two goals for this research. The main goal was to find out which ways of hemostasis are used by ambulance services. The secondary goal was to compare the hemostasis equipment of the previously mentioned services. The research was done in a qualitative style. I used the managed talk method, which I addressed to 13 members of ambulance services. Each respondent belonged to a different organization from South Bohemia and South Moravia, they were all randomly chosen. Each of them answered the same 6 questions. They were asked about their training, equipment and hemostasis experiences. Furthermore, I was interested in their experience with the C-A-T equipment. The 13 subjects attending the survey are able to use all basic methods of hemostasis thanks to their training and equipment. Specifically referring to pressure on the injury, pressing pressure point, pressure bandages and tourniquets. Thanks to the equipment comparison I found out that ambulance services use the same equipment and the only differences concern the C-A-T system, the fixing pelvis belt and hemostasis gauze.
Memory institutions of South Bohemia, Upper Austria and Lower Bavaria and Czech-German relations in years 19902013
KOŠTELOVÁ, Jana
This bachelor thesis deals with memory institutions of South Bohemia, Upper Austria and Lower Bavaria. The main purpose of this bachelor thesis is to chart and subsequently compare chosen temporary expositions, which were realised in years 19902013 and with their projects characterized the issue of Czech-German coexistence. The following analysis of the sources and literature will lead to name the key topics of Czech-German relations, which pay attention to the memory institutions. Further it will lead to characterize their changes in the monitored period and also to the evaluation their influence during the construction of the common collective memory.
