The importace of full NPK nutrition in the cultivation potatoes
SVOBODA, Lukáš
The aim was compare impact of NPK with the other types of fertilization: 0, N, PK, NK and NP on plants of chosen varieties. The experiment was treated on soil less convenient to intensive planting at an altitude of 400 m and conventionally
The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus in the effluent from small basins Czech Republic
KLIMEŠOVÁ, Lucie
The aim of this work is to describe the concentration of nutrients in the small effluents in the Czech Republic. The work focuses on the most problematic nutrients which affect the water quality, which are phosphorus and nitrogen. The paper also describes the cycles of these two nutrients in the environment and the nature of the factors affecting the leaching of these nutrients. There is also briefly described the situation of the development of water quality in the Czech Republic and what effect it has on human activity.
Influence of rainfall drainage events on the concentration of nutrients in the waters
STEJSKALOVÁ, Patricie
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to approach the issue of nutrients concentration changes in water during rainfall drainage events. The most problematical nutrients are set within the frame of this thesis, these are nitrogen and phosphorus. The thesis further describes the hydrological cycle. Major interest is devoted to atmospherical rainfalls. The thesis defines the origin of rainfall drainage events and also describes the factors, which influence the changes of nutrients concentrations during rainfall drainage events. Another part of the thesis is formed by the chapters describing the cycle of above mentioned nutrients and their forms of occurence in water. The last part of the thesis is devoted to nutrients concentration and its changes during rainfall drainage events.
The effect of supplementary feeding of market carp by cereal feeds on water quality
STROUHAL, Jiří
The purpose of this thesis was monitoring the impact of supplementary feeding to selected parameters of water quality (temperature, oxygen, pH, alkalinity, conductivity, turbidity, total suspended solids, chlorophyll a, CODCr, BOD5, TP, P PO43-, TN, N NH4+, N NO3). This experiment took place in storage ponds in Třeboň for 120 days. For the supplementary feeding were used nonmodified wheat, thermally wheat and thermally and pressed wheat. There were chosen 2 storage ponds for every group. Fish were fed 3 times a week. For comparison of results it was deployed a.k.a control where fish were dependent on natural food. It was taken total 12 samples in which were determined chemical and physical properties of water. Only one statistic (p < 0,05) difference was recorded in concentration of oxygen in storage ponds, where fish were fed by thermally and pressed wheat (5,79 + - 1,38 mg.l-1) in comparison with control (7,00 + - 1,73 mg.l-1). Other parameters did not exhibit significant changes among the monitored groups (p > 0,05).
Influence of rainfall drainage events on nutrients loss in river basins
STREITOVÁ, Eva
The aim of this bachelor thesis is to clarify the influence of rainfall drainage events on nutrients loss in river basins and which of these rainfall drainage events are the main reason for the loss. This thesis describes the elemental nutrients ( nitrogen and phosporus belong here) occuring the most often and in the biggest amount in our waters. The thesis also describes their occurence in waters and follow-on eutrophication of waters. Further, the factors influencing the drainage during the rainfall event are defined. These factors determine, by their activity, what aliquot part of rainfall drains on the surface, when and in which sequence the individual aliquot parts of rainfall come to river basin, whether water runs off the surface quickly or whether it soaks into the soil. These processes implicate the well-known cycle of water in the nature, which is consequently described in this thesis.
Analysis of the impact of drainage systems for surface water quality
KAMARÝT, Jiří
This Diploma thesis is following the previous Bachelor thesis which mainly focuses on drain systems and the analysis their influence of the quality of surface water. The literature review contains the description of surface water quality, substances causing the eutrophication, drainages and drain systems. Also the mechanisms influencing the change of quality of surface water after the the drain systems construction are included. In the chapter "Methodology", there are the statistical methods for concentration evaluation exposed, also the detiled description of setting up the crossing of empirical line for concentration substances in water and the drain separation methods with the aim to set the average phosporus and nitrogen concentration within the each drain component are covered. All of the evaluation which are followed by methodology in relation to sites of interest are described in detailed way in the chapter called "Material". The chapter "Results and discussion" focuses on overall description and evaluation of all the results.
Analysis of nutrients concentrations in waters and their transport from selected catchment
JIRKOVSKÁ, Veronika
The aim of this study was to analyze the presence of the trend of long-term time series of concentrations and losses of nutrients and their descriptions. The concentrations of nitrogen and phosphorus compounds were evaluated. The analysis was performed on selected catchment of large, medium and small areas. All observed catchment are located in the basin of dam Švihov. Trends were tested using non parametric methods - Mann-Kendall test, Seasonal Mann-Kendall test and Kendall's correlation coefficient . In this study there are generally described monitored cycles of nutrients, nitrogen and phosphorous. There are also characterized the factors, which effect leaching of these nutrients to water (from the catchment). The paper also outlines the progression of water quality in the Czech Republic, which was influenced by political and economic changes in Europe in the second half of the 20th century.
Eutrophic stress of the Orlik reservoir
ZELENKOVÁ, Kamila
Detection of potential sources of load eutrophic surface waters. Orlik dam is out of your water and energy purposes also used for recreational purposes. In recent years, recorded deterioration of water quality. It happens that it appears "Flower" water surface and increase algae. The content of this work was to monitor the changing state of water quality in reservoirs Orlik and its surroundings during the season. Parameters were monitored: conductivity, pH, oxygen, nitrates, and phosphates and during the season of 2013.
Nondestructive determination of nitrogen in biological and other materials by photon activation analysis
Krausová, Ivana ; Mizera, Jiří ; Chvátil, David ; Krist, Pavel ; Řanda, Zdeněk ; Kučera, Jan ; Štursa, Jan
A procedure has been developed for assaying nitrogen in biological materials by means of instrumental photon activation analysis (IPAA). The determination has been based on counting of the non-specific 511 keV annihilation gamma rays of 13N, product of the photonuclear reaction 14N(γ, n)13N and a pure positron emitter. IPAA allowed determination of nitrogen down to 1 wt.%. in selected biological reference standards - NIST RM 8433 Corn Bran, 1547 Peach Leaves, 8414 Bovine Muscle, and 1577b Bovine Liver. The optimized procedure was applied also to assaying nitrogen in pulverized nanodiamond intended for medical purposes.
