Developing rhythmic sensitivity in kindergarten children

The bachelor thesis deals with the development of rhythmic sensitivity in kindergarten children. It focuses on music education, describing from the child's creativity all the way to the teacher's preparation and appropriate motivation for musical activities. It then focuses on the development of the preschool child and musical means of expression. In my thesis I suggest activities for the development of the child's rhythmic sensitivity. As a means of suggestions I have chosen a play, which is a very important part of preschool life. Rhythm is also one of the main musical elements that accompanies not only the musical world, but also the human and biological world from the very beginning. The suggestions for specific plays described in the last chapter of the thesis deal not only with the development of rhythmic sensitivity, but also with the cognitive, psychomotor and affective functions of the preschool child. Most of the games are performed with the help of Orff musical instruments.
Public opinion on the role of a man as a teacher in kindergarten

The goal of this thesis is to find out what is the public opinion on man as teacher in kindergarten in South Bohemian Region by using a quantitative method. This bachelor thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. The theoretical part contains the definition of kindergarten, a chapter about what teacher must know to work with kids, statistics of men in kindergarten in the Czech Republic and abroad, a summary of interviews with men who works as kindergarten teachers, thanks to MŠMT, and other researches on similar topics. The practical part includes research and its results, along with graphs.
,,Tiger world" in kindergarten

Bachelor thesis introduces communication method Tiger's world and its usage in kindergarten's environment. Theoretical part of the thesis is based on cognitive, emotional, and social development, communication, and child drawing development in preschool age. It also introduces concept of Communication types and communication method Tiger's world by its respective authors Kamila Kopsová and Petr Kops. Research objective was to find out how can we use Tiger's world method in kindergarten conditions. To fulfill this objective, research interviews were set up with four different lectors of Tiger's world method. Lectors introduced the method, its pros and cons and their own experience with children in preschool age. Interviews are backed by two brief output records created by the author of this thesis.
Stories for relaxation and therapy in kindergarten

The bachelor thesis titled Relaxation and Therapeutic Stories in Kindergarten focuses on the contribution of these methods to the development of preschool children. It presents an expert perspective on the importance of stories, fairy tales, games, drawing, relaxation, massages and mandalas. It highlights the benefits of these activities in reducing stress, promoting social skills and improving the overall psychological state of children. The practical section presents a project combining these practices and describes the implementation of a range of relaxation and therapeutic stories, haptic massages and yoga exercises in a kindergarten setting, including their subsequent evaluation with children and teacher over a six-month period. It briefly captures each of the therapeutic stories, yoga relaxation exercises with stories, relaxing haptic massages and games. It describes the process of their implementation and evaluation.
Art creation in Kindergarten inspired by the methods of Marta Pohnerová

The bachelor thesis deals with art creation in the kindergarten environment inspired by the concept of spiritual and sensory education of Marta Pohnerová. This concept is situated in the animo-centric approach to art education. It also deals with the connection of this concept with the Framework Educational Programme for Pre-School Education and briefly covers drawing in pre-school age.
Folk Song and Development of Sense of Rhythm in Kindergarten

The aim of this thesis is to create a programme for the development of rhythmic sensitivity based on folk songs, which can be used in kindergarten. The theoretical part discusses folk song and its importance in preschool education, rhythmic sensitivity as one of the musical skills, ontogenetic development of rhythmic sensitivity and possibilities of its support. One of the subchapters is focused on suitable methods and forms of preschool education. In the practical part, a programme of suitable activities for the development of rhythmic sensitivity with gradually increasing difficulty is created on the basis of folk songs. The focus is on the use of appropriate methods and forms of education. The programme is tested in a kindergarten classroom and evaluated. A method of observation and a test of rhythmic sensitivity in a selected group of children before and after the programme is used. In the conclusion, recommendations for the use of the programme in practice are given.
"If the preschool teacher does not play a musical instrument ?"

The aim of the bachelor's thesis is to present ideas for musical activities for kindergarten, which do not require the skill of playing an instrument on the part of the preschool teacher. The theoretical part contains the definition of the meaning of musical activities in kindergarten and their distribution - musical activities in accordance with the Framework Educational Program for preschool education and their methodical guidance in kindergarten. It also characterizes musical abilities of children in the preschool period according to their age. The practical part describes the implementation of musical activities in kindergarten and the evaluation of activities using the method of observation and interview.
Children's yoga in the kindergarten

This bachelor thesis deals with yoga in kindergarten. The theoretical part is focused on the preschool child and on defining the basic concepts related to the topic of children's yoga. The thesis is also accompanied by the composition of a children's yoga lesson, yoga therapy or the use of motivational aids. The practical part of the bachelor's thesis presents the results of the methodological program "Children's Yoga in Kindergarten," which was verified in kindergartens by participant observation and qualitative interview method.

The bachelor thesis addresses the issue of loss in the lives of preschool-age children. The theoretical part primarily focuses on the cognitive and emotional understanding of loss during the preschool period of a child. In connection with this, the theoretical section examines the most common losses in the lives of children within the family and preschool context. Additionally, other significant losses that children may encounter during the preschool period are introduced. The goal of the research part is to map the attitudes and experiences of parents and educators in preschools related to the losses that children cope with during this period. This objective will be achieved through qualitative research using semi-structured interviews. The research section also includes proposed activities that can help children recognize their emotions and work with them, assisting them in coping with losses encountered not only in the preschool period.
Listening to Artificial Music in Kindergarten

The goal of this bachelor's thesis is to create a range of activities for kindergarten children that will introduce them to artificial music. The purpose of these activities is to support the child's relationship to music, understanding of musical composition and familiarize him with musical instruments. The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the development of preschool children in the field of emotions, imagination, attention and music. Further characterizes listening activities in the kindergarten and methodology of those activities at any age of child. The practical part consist of an offer off activities related to artificial music, which are intertwined with all areas of education.
