Kartografické porovnání vývoje land use v katastrálním území Slavkov u Brna

This thesis deals with the analysis of the development of land use in the cadastral area of Slavkov u Brna in the period 1843–2020. The first part of this thesis is devoted to a literary research of the issue. The individual chapters define the basic concepts and approaches related to landscape research. The practical part characterizes the solved location and describes the methodology of spatial data processing. Based on archive and current spatial data, graphical and tabular outputs were created using ArcGIS and MS Excel SW. These outputs are commented in detail in the Results and Discussion chapter. The lowest value of the coefficient of ecological stability was calculated for 1953 (0,46). The maximum value of the coefficient was found out for the period of the Stable Cadastre (2,04). One of the aims of this thesis was to clarify the causes that led to the observed changes in land use.

Možnosti využití technologií precizního zemědělství v zemědělském podniku

The topic of my thesis is "Possibilities of using technology in precision agriculture on the farm." The thesis dealt with explanation of technologies used in precision agriculture which can be used in practice and their benefits, problems, economy, present and future of these technologies. Informations were drawn from foreign publications and consulted the issues with experts and companies who are engaged in precision agriculture. I was studying possibilities of using precision agriculture in my research on the farm which manages 475 ha agricultural land. Based on the analysis of the location and farm management I evaluated investment opportunities in the technologies of precision agriculture and their economic benefits for the farm and its advantages and disadvantages.. I found out that not all investments in precision agriculture make sense in specific conditions.

Digitalizace historických map a jejich využití pro sledování změn v katastrálním území Dolní Dubňany

I have focused my bachelor's thesis on the observation of changes in the landscape with the help of maps. The selected area is cadastre of Dolní Dubňany, which belongs to the region of South Moravia and lies approximately in the middle between towns Brno and Znojmo. I assessed the changes on the basis of maps and field survey, which took place during a vegetation period. I progressively worked the available maps and data of the field survey out by using of the program ArcGIS from a company ESRI. There were two periods - year 1953 and 2014. I evaluated and compared the mentioned years on the base of vectorisation. I compared the changes by the represented forest cover, permanent grassland, arable land, water areas, orchards and gardens, built-up areas and other areas in the length of unpaved roads.

This Bachelor thesis is focused on the implementation of a geographical infor-mation system in a commercial company, more specifically in Kovona system, Inc., and is divided between theoretical and practical parts. The theoretical part deals with geo-graphical information systems as a complex and will help familiarize the reader with the Quantum GIS program. The aim is to propose a project to Kovona System, Inc., which will better align planning with actual work. The practical part outlines the development of a Quantum GIS program which will map the data reflected by company plans.

Rozhledny v Jihomoravském kraji z hlediska cestovního ruchu

Řiháčková, Barbora. Lookout towers in the South Moravian Region in terms of tourism. Brno, 2022. Bachelor thesis. Mendel University in Brno. The bachelor thesis deals with publicly accessible lookout towers in the South Moravian Region and the municipalities in which these lookout towers are located. The work aims to geographically evaluate the lookout towers in connection with the tourist attractiveness of the municipalities of interest. Literary research is devoted to tourism and its infrastructure, the importance of lookout towers in tourism, and a brief development of their construction. The thesis describes the South Moravian region from the point of view of tourism and evaluates the tourist attractiveness of the surveyed municipalities. Indicators of natural and cultural-historical attractiveness, the number of collective accommodation establishments, and connections to tourist routes were used for the evaluation. The thesis analyses the characteristics of lookout towers such as height and construction, date of access, in terms of their locations, altitude, or type of land cover. The work focuses on spatial contexts. The obtained results are supported by map visualizations. At the end of the work is a synthesis of the results, and the possibilities of their use are given.

Revitalizace jímacího území léčivé minerální vody Šaratice v k.ú. Nesvačilka

This bachelor thesis deals with revitalization design in collectiing area of healing mineral water Šaratica in the cadastral area of Kalužiny. From the technical point of view, there is unconvenient condition of access dirt road, considerable watrelogging and wash away the soil from the surrounding lands occure. This situation is not suitable for economicaly and ecologicaly precise organization of water collection. Natural values, barring healing water, are represented by occurence of rare halofyt species. The aim of this thesis is to connect technical and biological part of revitalization into one cooperating complex of arrangements like access road rebuilding, both partial underground and superficial draining and demarcation of the elements of Territorial System of Ecological Stability using GIS technologies.

Návrh GIS aplikace pro platformu Windows Phone 8

This diploma thesis deals with the design and development of a mobile GIS application intended for the Windows Phone 8 platform. The first part of this thesis is dedicated to describing GIS applications which are already available as well as resources and parts of .NET framework used for development on the platform mentioned above. The second part contains a specific design, an architecture and an implementation of the application. Functionality of chosen parts of the developed GIS application is demonstrated through models created according to UP methodology. Several tests of the application are per-formed using data from the arboretum of Mendel University to evaluate functionality and usability of the designed solution.
