Zich, František
Using biographic research methods the population in the Czech, German and Polish parts of euroregion were studied. The results show that for the time being no cross ůborder regional identity exist and each of the national parts can be characterised by a distinctiveness in the regional identity and mentality. The populationŽs identification with the region in the Czech part is generally based on the its environmental and aesthetic qualities. The least favourable situation for regional identity is evident in those parts in which the industry has been liquidated.
