SBRA Method and serviceability of structures
Valihrach, J. ; Marek, Pavel
This paper is intended to summarize application of the fully probabilistic Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment method (SBRA) on serviceability assessment in scope of proposed integrated system (SBRA guideline) of reliability assessment of structures. Also, the aim of this paper is to contribute to ongoing debate about probabilistic design and assessment of structures, and to its results integration into future fully probabilistic generation of design codes.
Probabilistic serviceability assessment of structure and load carrying systems using SBRA method
Valihrach, J. ; Marek, Pavel
This article is aimed to inform about new knowledge accumulated in the field of dynamic experiments and identification of condition of concrete bridges, attention is primarily given to the SBRA method. The second part aimed to inform about application of SBRA method in the field of aerodynamics of civil engineering structures.
Reliability of structures exposed do dynamic response of the load-probabilistic assessment using SBRA method
Marek, Pavel ; Valihrach, J.
Using examples, the reliability of structures exposed to dynamic response is assessed by probabilistic SBRA (Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment) Method.
Probabilistic approach to the structure serviceability assessment
Valihrach, J. ; Marek, Pavel
This paper turns attention to the differences between the structural serviceability assessment according to the current codes and according to probabilistic concepts such as Simulation-Based Reliability Assessment. Some of the main issues are considered anddiscussed.
