Note to preparation for sheltered housing of clients with mantal handicap in centre of residential and ambulatory social services Bobelovka.

Theme of the bachelor's thesis is preparation of clients with intellectual disability for transition to sheltered housing. Theoretical part of the thesis defines the term of intellectual disability (mental retardation), classifies degrees of intellectual disability and delineates social aspects of such handicap. I describe the system of social welfare in the Czech Republic and further I focuse on sheltered housing issue I define the term, characterize types of sheltered housing, purpose of sheltered housing and financial circumstances of this service. At the end of theoretical part facility "Centrum pobytových a ambulantních sociálních služeb Bobelovka" is introduced. In practical part experiences of CPASS Bobelovka with clients' preparation for sheltered housing are mapped. I do qualitative research to find out, if there is any possibility to prepare intellectually disabled clients for transition to sheltered housing and which conditions have to be assured for the preparation. Research summary and results interpretation are presented at the end of practical part.
