SOBOTKOVÁ, Natálie
The theoretical part of the thesis aims to define the key terms concerning epilepsy, and to specify the knowledge, attitudes and self-confidence both generally and in the context of the disease. The theoretical part is going to include a survey study of the knowledge of the general population about epilepsy and their attitudes towards the disease. The goal of the research part is to establish a connection between the reported knowledge, self-confidence and attitudes in relation to epilepsy in a random sample of adults not suffering from epilepsy. The results are going to be discussed and compared with the specialist literature.
