This bachelor thesis deals with the topic Municipality financing. The aim of the thesis is to demonstrate the possibilities of municipal financing and to find out on the example of a chosen municipality, whether the financial management is effec-tive and will also focus on the future development of the municipality. Firstly, basic literature related to the topic of work will be translated, subsequently the possibilities of municipal financing will be researched and in the end will be pointed out the EU funds drawing.

Preparation of spirocyclic compounds using synergistic catalysis

Main aim of this diploma work was to develop new method for preparation of spiro compounds based on synergistic catalysis. First part deals with preparation of corresponding starting materials, substituted pyrazol-3-ones and (E)-α,β-unsaturated aldehydes. Second part is focused on cyclization reaction affording spiro compounds and optimization of the conditions (metal and organocatalyst screening, solvent, concentration screening). The last part is the study of scope of the reaction.

Preparation of bifunctional organocatalysts

This bachelor thesis deals with the synthesis of bifunctional thiourea catalysts and corresponding building blocks derived from levoglukosane. The first part was of this thesis is focused on the preparation 1,6:2,3-dianhydro-4-azido-4-deoxy-β-D-mannose. The second part of the thesis is deals with the preparation od bifunctional catalyst.
