GSM communicator for the lift

In this bachelor thesis a microcontroller is applied to a defined and practical construction of THE GSM COMMUNICATOR FOR LIFT. This unit is constructed as a small low-cost emergency speech system for lifts. There are two units – one for the cab box (speech) and the other one for the machine room (GSM connection to the dispatching centre). The connection between these units is realized only by a two-wire aerial cable. The communication to the dispatching centre is based on GSM Wavecom module to send the information about the lift status via SMS messages and audio signal for speech from the cab box.

This master's thesis deals with design electronics for an antenna rotator in two axis. There are designed and implemented drivers for two stepper motors. Was also designed and implemented control panel that allows manual control the rotator and remote control by PC via USB. At the same time created software for control panel and PC application for easy operation.
