A Computer Game to Fight Drought in the Countryside in Unity

This bachelor's thesis focuses on the design and development of the game in the Unity gaming engine. Game has the task of being educational. The player has the opportunity to familiarize himself with the different circumstances, which result on the profitability of the village and the retention of water in the country. The aim of the game is to map a small village above which it is possible to convert individual fields for other types. With simple models, characteristic calculations and rules, it is possible to monitor the impact of these changes on the profitability of the village and the retention of water in the country.
Augmented Reality on Lume Pad

This bachelor's thesis deals with the possible improvement of applications that use augmented reality. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to find out whether the light field technology of the Lume Pad tablet provides better navigation and manipulation with objects in augmented reality. To fulfill the goal of the bachelor thesis, a thorough study of augmented reality, light field technology, the Unity game engine and the Lume Pad tablet is necessary. Based on the studied information, an application is implemented in the Unity game engine, which combines augmented reality and light field technology. The app contains tests that point to possible improvements. The tests focus on navigation and manipulation with objects in augmented reality. Using a sample of users, the final application is tested and based on the results of testing, a conclusion is drawn.
