Healthy lifestyle and its impact on consumer behavior in gastronomy

This bachelor thesis deals with the topic of Healthy lifestyle and its impact on consumer behavior in gastronomy. The introduction of the theoretical part is focused on healthy lifestyle and its components- determinants of health, wellness, fitness and mainly the field of healthy nutrition. In the second chapter of the theoretical part there is an analysis of consumer behavior, motivation, goals and needs leading to the purchase process. There are also defined factors affecting consumer to shopping process. The third section is about the gastronomy, catering and forms of catering operations including its regulations. The practical part is based on a questionnaire research, analyzing and studying the consumer behavior, consumer preferences in the selection of restaurants, alimentation and their adherence to the principles of a healthy lifestyle. Based on the research results there is recommendation suggested for catering operators.
