Comparison of numerical and experimental investigation of flow through straight blade cascades with reaction blading

The article deals with comparison of numerical and experimental investigation of flow through four different linear blade cascades with reaction blading. The experimental part was carried out in a high-speed cascade wind tunnel of VZLÚ. The numerical simulation was performed using the in-house CFD code developed in VZLÚ which includes the bypass transition model as well as model of transition due separation.
Experimental results of the benchmark cascade SE 1050 for transonic velocity operation

Aerodymic characteristics from measurement on profile turbine blade cascade SE 1050 in two wind tunnels are presented. A good agreement of results is found out.
